These full power combat rifle should be “semiauto gun with fullauto function”, but due to the design of
the game, players include me just use fullauto 90% of the time.
One of the reason of this is high recoil control.
Recoil control is a factor that reduce the gun recoil when firing full auto. most of the SF have about 1/4 of their recoil when auto compare to semiauto.
I suggest we double that, or even just remove the recoil control, same as semiauto gun.
If you don’t know:
“Statcard Recoil” is the “first shot recoil”
“Recoil Control” reduce fullauto recoil
And makes them all have default fire mode of semiauto + mechanism that makes bots switch to fullauto when close combat.
This won’t be difficult to understand, soldiers won’t spreading lead at fullauto most of the time when using guns like M14 and FAL.
They already have similar recoil as semiauto gun.
The real problem is recoil performs huge difference in semi/full auto.
That’s why I suggest nerf on recoil control than recoil.
No thanks we had FG42 starting at semi for years while rest of the SF were starting at full auto and it was miserable experience. With current AR, MG and SMG meta of BR5 it would make SF rifles completely worthless.
You have your event Fedorov Rifle if you want to have actual great semi auto while rest can’t compete with it’s pitiful dmg per bullet and bad recoil/dispersion.

Recoil and Recoil control go hand in hand, they create the same stat
Recoil control just means:
50% recoil control
18 Vertical x 9 Horizontal
Instead is 9 Vertical x 4.5 Horizontal
Its just a multiplier applied to the recoil value, its a pointless and confusing addition added by the devs
it’s a pointless change as it would make them unplayable, T20 and FG42 are now barely controllable with full auto. While Hyde/STG44 can just spray all day long with almost no recoil.
Well, I think that would make Soviet SFs and the T20 partially 2 times more difficult to control compared to the Type Hei while the FG42 (or at least some of the event and premium models) and the Type Hei would become slightly harder BARs if we just plain remove the multiplier/ control without further adjustments.
And the Gorov would become weird.
While I wouldnt say to the option per se, it still would require to adjust the normal recoil numbers.

“Actual recoil” stat is create by our friend Euthymia which makes you understand how gun recoil will like if the gun continue to fire.
recoil push ur aim point when fire.
recoil control pull the aim point back after fire, so when continue to fire, it cancel out some of the recoil.
I was more thinking about how it would behave compared to other guns and I think while it it is not straight 2x, some FG42 models and the Typ Hei would have low 50ish recoil while AVT and T20 range from 80 to 100ish.
Well, depends on the number because SVT rn has around 100 to 110ish recoil and nobody seriously complains about that.
So I guess you can move all of them at least up to 80ish or so and let BaLaNcE decide who gets the worst and best recoil.
I cant understand this concept for you. The best I can tell you is that
“Actual recoil” and “Recoil control pull the aim point back after fire” are BOTH effects done by recoil control. If you delete recoil control, you go from “Actual recoil” back to “Statcard recoil”
The M2 Carbine would go BACK to 76 Vertical x 21 Horizontal
In the case of SVT and AVT
If you always play semiauto
SVT-40 have 112 V_recoil
AVT-40 have 102 V_recoil
Which is reasonable for BRV gun have a little less recoil and larger mag
Indeed, all I am saying is that we should not forget the other rifles with their decent true recoil stats because as I said, the FG42 and the Type Hei would become too strong against Soviets and Americans, who at best might counter with the M2.
