With the recent event reintroducing the blued Hi-Power to Germany I find it a fitting time to repost this old suggestion
Tldr: Germany used the Hi-power as much as the Allies due to producing it in occupied Belgium, they should have access to it much like the Soviets do with the C96
Nice suggestion. Personally speaking I think the recent event was done in a bad manner. Making you choose between so many good pistols is a crime. However, I guess these pistols will definitely be a part of the upcoming loot boxes. I had to pick the one for the US. But I would definitely like to pick the other ones as well as and when they come.
The only way I’m going to agree to this is if you add every single pistol used, I say again. Every single one of these sweet sweet pistols used by each faction added to their respective trees. And I mean EVERY single pistol. If I’m going to play a world war II game that’s supposed to be the most authentic and fleshed out like they claim, they better beat a dead horse with the amount of pistols that are in this game (They need to pick world war II clean in terms of equipment just like a buzzard would a corpse, not just with handguns but all weapons and vehicles). I want so many handguns in this game that it feels like they can begin to rival that of other small arms in terms of amount. There’s easily more than enough pistols for every faction to have at a minimum another 4 or 5 permanently added to the shop.
The less copy pasted things that are across multiple faction’s TT, the better.
I don’t want it to end up like WT where every nation has Sherman, since it’s “historically accurate that they had access to them”.
Enlisted isn’t reality, and I like when factions are distinguishable from each other. And it’s the equipment what makes them unique.
I still very dislike The fact Soviets do have bazookas and pfausts (If only they’d give those weapons a slightly different model/texture like they did with mp171/ppsh41. I wouldn’t mind it then, because they would be unique to both factions)
Otherwise we might as well introduce a mixed faction MM. Because factions wouldn’t meant a much anyway.
I think Herman Göring and Himmler both had ornate colts and brownings that they are seen carrying
Fallshimjager in part were issued browning sidearms I believe too.
I recently saw a video on YouTube about how the Japanese officers had to buy there own side arm and some flexed by buying expensive western examples like the Luger the colt and the browning.
Except that the Browning was produced for Germany, issued to German troops and used by German troops.
The Sherman comparison makes no sense because the Germans did not built them but captured them.
I don’t see any difference, that’s irrelevant. There are a lot of nations in WT who bought those Shermans, too, and thus they were subsequently made for them.
That’s not important what’s important is, that it makes the faction less unique.
Copy pasted stuff across several TTs just isn’t something I would prefer.
As far as I know, I was never focusing specifically just on Germany.
I just don’t want copy pasted stuff across several TTs.
But I don’t have high hopes you will ever comprehend such complicated thought. Because you’re keep trying to take this discussion somewhere it’s never been in the first place :).
