I really miss the opportunity to choose any kind of campaign. It really made Enlisted a far better game. I just love the possibility to decide where ill take my squads to. Its just so weird to me to see volksturm fight against the allies in Tunisia or in Stalingrad. Hope to see this back again

I doubt it will be back, which means we’ll have to come up with something new. Like a preferred maps system (or preferred campaign) and you make your own historical loadouts.
Or we can find ways to restrict certain equipment and vehicles to their respective theatres (unlikely to happen, but I’m sick of seeing crusaders in the pacific)

Yeah I fully agree. Personally I’m tired of the fact that where I play is decided for me. Plus your own custom squads and loadouts based on the chosen “campaign“ would make it more immersive!

Because we didn’t realise what (how bad/immersion destroying) the alternative was before we got it!
ETA: people were fixated on the price of equipment and not having to buy explosive packs across all the campaigns and that sort of thing - they (we) forgot to consider actual game-play

I agree, would love to see the old Theatres of War selection back - sometimes one really feels like fighting in a specific location and it is a bummer if you get put somewhere else all the time. That said, I doubt we will ever get it back the way it was.

It sucks worse when you can’t choose your map, and then get punked into the same map playing the same game mode “three times in a row”. Nothing sucks Donkey balls more then to get stuck in a map “YOU HATE”, and then get kicked in the dick two more times having to endure it. That is when I start seriously considering desertion.

And I miss VCRs & 8-track tapes. Guess what? They ain’t coming back… But Elvis, he’s still alive. He’s definitely coming back! And when he does, he’ll be bringing the campaign system with him. Until then, we’ll just have to wait.

All “unbalanced” are caused by “faction trend”. In fact, this situation has never stopped happening even now.
