Bring back segregation or bring back Italy and Britan

Alright the title is the way it is because I couldn’t find a better way to phrase it, but Ive discovered a way to implement British and Italian squads 3 different ways.

Option 1: Simply give 2 squads for every weapon researched that comes with a squad.
For example when you research the M3A1 “Grease Gun” you receive 1 Assaulter II squad to go along with it, but with the new system, you will receive an American and British squad separately and the ability to chose which soldiers you want to buy (British soldiers only for British Squads, and American soldiers for American squads)

Option 2: add Italy and Britan as nations with their own tech trees but here’s the catch, Italy and Germany can get into the same match together against USA and Great Britain. This would be a good way to add other nations like Finland since they can get into matches with Germany against the Soviets.
The Soviets can also get some squads and soldiers from their republics such as the Ukrainian SSR, Byelorussian SSR, Kazakh ASSR, Uzbek SSR, and others, since they all saw heavy fighting on the eastern front.

Option 3: compress the nation’s down further into Allies vs Axis (United States of America, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and Great Britan vs Nazi Germany, Kingdom of Italy, and the Empire of Japan) honestly I probably shouldn’t even suggest this because I’m afraid you might chose this over option 2.

Hopefully everyone chooses option 2 since it’s clearly better.

I have suggested this in a thread some where, yeah i think it made sense, hence why not many posted

Out there Idea (so i know you will all probably hate it) but?

Ok, this a way out there idea, so i know you will all probably hate it, What if USSR and US become Allies, and Japan and Germany become Axis? Could it work? was pointed out, and i forgot, that in WT(yes i know this is not WT yet)you can go into battles with mixed teams? Would make the MM numbers not spread out? more people v people games? mixed maps in rotation, that a survey has been done to find fix, maps that people wont play?

No option 2 is clearly the best and only option, everyone gets what they want, Italy and Britain as a tech tree as well as a fast working matchmaking

The merge did need to happen, but was every possible avenue explored to improve the merge further and avoid splitting up the player base without chasing off potential customers?

For instance, instead of creating countries as factions, create different fronts as factions:

• Western Front: US, Western European powers, and throw in Africa
• Eastern Front: USSR, Eastern European countries that fought against the Axis
• Axis European: Germany, Italy, and other European countries allied with Germany before starting to backstab.
  Make Axis European Universal to avoid splitting them up.
• Pacific Allies: US, Aussies, NZ, CW, Philippines, China, and whoever else was fighting the Pacific Axis
• Pacific Axis: Japan and Thailand

Each faction listed includes every country, so there is no need to add another faction in the future. All that needs to be done is add equipment and vehicles to each faction’s tree. But with the current way the merge is, you will need to add more factions as more countries come along.

I brought this up once; it seems a select few didn’t like it.

I like my option 2 better, that way we can add other countries into separate tech trees but have them matchmake together.

However minor countries can join in with major countries like Indonesia being a subfaction in the Japanese tech tree with squads dedicated to Indonesian troops using Japanese equipment. Countries like Finland can be its own nation with its own unique weapons and captured Soviet tanks and German b issued tanks

I thought it is western allies to begin with
