BR2 Thompson should have 20 round mags - not 30!

We have been asking for a TT Thompson for BR2 constantly - never did we ask about a 30 rounder version, it was very self explanatory that the BR2 Thompson should have a 20 rounder mag.

If US players want a bigger mags they have other weapons to choose from, Thompson has excellent dps - that’s enough for BR2.

Either that, or simply just put the weapon back to BR3. It has nothing to do in BR2 in its current state.

I don’t think they’ll change it, they’re too lazy to do the simplest things.
And about the weapon itself, if the Soviets have the right to have the Uragan and the Japanese have the right to have the 50 round SMG, the Americans can use M1A1. If the Germans are the problem, buff their weapons.

The problem are all BR2 weapons that got powercrept by this change. Not Germany specifically.

BR1 is unpopular and BR2 could barely hold its own against BR3.That’s why they gave BR2 better weapons.

That’s not true. I would even say that BR2 was always more popular than BR3.

yes, BR3 was never popular before the update, in US and Japan you always went to BR5 battle. in the Soviet and Germany it happened sometimes too.

You are right - now that BR3 doesn’t face BR5 anymore I found myself much more regularly playing BR3.

Dont forget tho that BR2 players like myself are playing BR2 because of more early war maps like Moscow.

BR3 can face all maps.

That means I need to buy apperances for each soldiers for each campaign :disappointed_relieved:
Damn you Darkijin.

Isn’t it because your favorite faction is Germany and you feel that their BR2 lineup is significantly underpowered compared to the BR2 of other factions?

Nah, just SMGs but those are the workhorse of BR2 since everyone is spamming assaulter squads.
Which I don’t really like but what can a N do?

Well yes, but i rather play BR1 then, because I have 3 Panzer III J squads - which are very strong for being BR1 (can take out T28E very reliably unlike Panzer IV F1)

Also I am one of the few who loves bolt action gameplay + 20 rounder Beretta is quite great for a BR1 gun.

No?

My guess as to why it isn’t the case is simply because a premium squad exists with that…

As to it’s battle rating… I got no strong opinion on it. It’s good for br2 yes, but it’s not like it’s the first time we see a faction with powerful stuff for it’s br… (uragan)

Thompson of that premium squad has better sights, so…

Well okay, this is indeed a somewhat complicated and delicate topic when adding a vehicle to the TT that already exists as a premium - however, to get back to the original topic… well this didn’t stop the devs from lowering 30 rounder Thompson into BR2, making the premium and other special BR2 Thompsons obsolete.

BR II is allies specially US is the strongest nation there and at BR III is a bit more balanced. But dose moving the Thompson will improve something to me is the same im more interested getting MKb 42 (h) in BR IV. People will play the Owen Mk 1 instead of tommy but they are very similar the only problem with the Owen is the mag on top if you get used to it I would prefer it over the tommy.

I think they better buff the FNAB rate of fire to 600.

Idk…

Perhaps tweak dispersion or recoil a bit then?

I don’t mind much to be frank

I’m forced to play at BR3 as those tanks are too overpowering with your BR2 tanks. For Sov/American/JP BR2 smgs and rifles are more than enough but for Germany you are forced to use BR3 otherwise you will be always too weak in every single thing you are using at BR2 when compared to your enemies.
