The current state of the highest Battle Rating (BR) in this game is truly pathetic. It’s full of players using low-tier BR 2-3 weapons, and the teams are overrun with bots that are completely disoriented. I’ve personally seen players running in the opposite direction of the objective, seemingly just to circle around. The highest-ranked BR, which should represent the pinnacle of skill, feels more like the absolute lowest.
Ultimately, it seems the developers either lack the understanding or the will to properly balance the matchmaking system, and it’s frankly absurd. From my perspective, they should even consider restricting players from intentionally lowering their BR. As it stands, all the skilled players are in BR 2, while those who don’t know how to play are in BR 5. It’s as if the entire Elo system has been inverted.
I initially thought it was a cool feature to be able to switch between different Battle Ratings. However, the more I play, the more absurd it feels. Ultimately, no BR is balanced because players are constantly jumping around, and the whole system is a mess. It’s like a headless chicken running in circles.
I will never understand players who insist of playing low tier gear on higher tiers, if you want a challenge that makes sense but every time I see players running the Stuart or crusader at br5 allies I look at them like this:
Brother in Christ, the whole point of a competitive game is to compete. No one in League of Legends is complaining because they can’t drop back down to Bronze. BR5 should be the niche for people who’ve unlocked everything and have been playing for a while, not for new players who’ve only been at it for four days but can now freely play in the ‘high leagues’ just because they’ve put in a lot of hours or swiped their card. I still stand by the idea that they should prohibit dropping below BR once you decide to move up… Like a pop-up that says, ‘Are you sure? Once you go up, you can’t go back down,’ and let everyone make their own choice.
They play in low-ELO, but they use the highest and best gear from that ELO. They don’t want to challenge themselves; they just want to feel good by preying on the newbies and bots in the lowest ELO.
I just play on BR2 cos its loke CoD3 which i loved n powned baby. I do well in BR5 as a BR2, it is good practice to sharpen that tactical combat awareness spodey sense. A poor workman (or BF) always blames his tools… Suck less, do better I say xxx

I prefer BR 1-2 gameplay with bolt actions and tanks that actually existed and were used,
over BR5 with T20, Autohei, AS, RPD, Hyde, Hori and Su-9 (1946), none of which had a single second of combat in WW2.

Yet BRV is the best BR IMHO.
Because you still can see BRI people in you BRII stack meanwhile facing full BRIII enemies.
But in BRV even if your entire team BRI - yet you are full BRV and won’t face anyone better suited than you.
