I wanted to make a preset for German BR2 and played in Germany for the first time in a long time to further my research.
But most of the matches were like this. How terrible.
I don’t mind playing bot matches. Farming is boring, but good for exp.
But the problem is one guy who was set up for a 10 vs 1 match. His game experience will be terrible.
Why do they openly do such unbalanced matching?
The number of players should be evenly distributed to match the smaller teams, and the extra people should be matched to bot matches.
My suggestion is this, if you have 10 players who want to play in Germany and 3 each in the USSR and USA, create two 3vs3 matches.
What should four German players who are short of opponents do?
They are connected to a BOT match where they fight only against BOTs.
I can partially agree.
Groups should be matched with groups, but well, it should be a soft rule. Because I doubt how many team of people playing in a group are occurring at the same time.
As a hard rule, the number of players should absolutely be equalized. If it is not possible to equalize the number of players completely and there is a difference of +/- 1~2 players, it is acceptable, but joke matching such as 10 vs. 1 should be prohibited.
Yeah I guess still nobody is playing USA.
Please allow me to expand on your suggestion.
I was recently thinking something like this.
Games often have difficulty settings.
Enlisted has none.
Some people like sweatfest, other like chill games.
So give these settings to choose from (for example):
The ammount of human players makes the difference, not the battle rating of your weapons.
No more need for battle ratings, use all equipment that you want.
Maybe this is no good at all, sorry but I am just trying to think of something to make the game nice again.
Unbalance Matching - Mess Room - Enlisted
When the merge was announced to improve the player base, I knew it would not improve the unfairness of the matching. It would improve progression issues and the problem of some campaigns having no players at all, but matching is a different issue. I wrote that opinion on the forum then as well.
And still now the crap matching has not been fixed. It shows that improvements need to be made that are separate from the merging.
Even if there are plenty of players, as long as matchmakers continue to make 10vs1 crap matches, players of certain BR, certain factions will continue to have the worst gaming experience.
And these experiences will lead to a concentration of players into popular factions, making the game more and more unbalanced.
Now that the merging process is done, the Devs should work on improving the matchmakers.
Quite frankly, if this is a public match, this is the result of how unbalanced Germany is in General. After the merge, the longer the game goes the fewer players will play allies. There is no incentive too. New players won’t obtain rank because they will face high tier Germans because the game won’t be able to properly match make. More people will play Germany, and eventually the game will be nearly exclusively PVE. I can’t stress it enough how unrewarding this game is for the United states. Not that it matters, the cards are stacked against the allies and the devs plus the most outspoken community members on the forums quite frankly don’t care about balance. They want a pure unrivaled and uncompetitive German experience. Make a suggestion against Germany and nothing will become of it. I’ve honestly had people agree that the games gun balancing is so bad that things like all the STG 44 variants feel like the product of someone adjusting modded stat sliders to the max on all stats. I’ve also pointed out that some Germany weapons are so potent that cheating isn’t even necessary yet the US has to rely on controlled fire for all weaponry.
Good: less deserters on my team than usual, finally attacking and not defending, we actually took 1 point lol, I shot down every enemy plane that I saw but a biplane took out my P38 lol
Bad: again only Tunisia, again loss.
(I got no engi points because I used my planes to do the daily task of destroying tanks)
Thanks for your good point.
I play in europe and usually at weird times (early morning, USA is still sleeping then).
I have ‘any server’ selected because most europeans also dont play at the time that I do.
Hoping to get more human players in the game, but perhaps they dont play USA.
The best solution is always the same one, play on the US server and desert until you dont find a battle were you have a stack on your side
Or
You play aganaist japanese
After intensive test i noted is almost impossibile win a random battle as usa on EU server the faction is so empty that often you see usa tier 2 aganaist german tier 5, soviet playerbase is more player balanced than usa one of km
EU server has more matches but some have half of your team consisting of bots but 80% of them are full or just about even even if both teams have bots
Match 1:
Why are you so luckey to get in such a match? Most of my games DF get me into a game that I solo a sovient squad or american squad. With shitty teams on my side
