Game is pretty balanced. The playerbase is not

Players in this game are just horrible. Then they come onto the forums and say “this is OP!!” “That is OP” from my experience when you have fairly even teams the games are pretty darn close in competition.

It’s only when you have all the good players on one side (axis) and average players on other side, do you have stomps.

Untill those Soviet paras drop at Moscow with RD44, Panzerfaust 100 and 82mm mortar in Low BR match, yeah, perfectly balanced

Many players have a habitual thinking error
The camp with more players has better weapons.
It was actually just a mistake. In last year’s Battle of Berlin the Germans had the powerful FG42-2, but the end result was that the Soviet army had a numerical advantage, even though their weapons were inferior.
The IJA had poor weapons but had more players in the Pacific so they could beat the Americans.

So a lot of times they’re yelling: Hey, that’s not fair, when actually it’s not the difference in weapons but the difference in the number of players.

However, the number of players cannot be controlled by game developers. This is a cruel reality.

All the developers can do is to minimize the differences and attract players to play the camp with fewer people. No matter what, it is a difficult thing.

it’s the F2P crowd. They think that because they didn’t pay for the game that it should for some reason be really easy

In my opinion, the matchmaker needs improvement.
For example, let’s say there are 100 players waiting in a queue in Germany, but at this time there are no players in the US or Soviet Union in the queue yet.
If one American or Soviet player enters the queue, the matchmaker will matchmake a 10 vs. 1 match between 10 Germans and 1 Allied player. I don’t know exactly what kind of matching mechanism is used, but I have experienced many matches where the number of players is extremely unbalanced, so I think it works like that.
Even if there are not enough players at the start of the game, some players will join mid-game for a few minutes after the game starts, so if you wait for a while, your team may be filled. However, many people will leave the game if they see a screen like this.

No one wants to be on the side of 1 in 10VS1, so they will probably choose safe Germany.
In addition to bad player habits, the matchmaker doesn’t make fair matches. That’s making things worse.

Improving the matchmaker probably won’t solve all the bad habits of the player base, but I think it would improve it significantly.
No matter how long the German players are waiting, I think something needs to be improved, such as waiting for matching until a certain number of Allied players are in the queue, or matching so that both sides have the same number of players.
I’ve made suggestions like this in the past.
Both teams will be matched so that they have the same number of players - Suggestions - Enlisted
Fairly match the number of players - Suggestions - Enlisted
I’d rather have good matchmaking, even if it takes a little longer, than be led to a bad match.

most equal matches are basically clashes of titans, if two teams have above-average players in a similar number, then the game is more interesting, especially in the case of confrontation,

I recently had a confrontation where me and my best opponent were neck and neck in terms of score, and the victory was outweighed by the fact that my rest of the team was slightly more competent.

Honestly, I don’t like it, the strength of the team is less important than one player who makes all the difference. I mention it often, maybe devs will take it into account.

I hope that with the current introduction of APC, the single player who builds rally points will be less important for the victory.

agreed

What mean by this statement?
That the person that sits in a APC, is now more important than the engineer on the ground?

no, that it will be more fair, because if you won’t have any skilled engineer in your team maybe you will have an APC driver instead.

there will be less hopeless situations

I did type that out, as a second option, then deleted it.lol
thinking the reason was the Engineers demise, lol

I was like F this iam going to research a APC and sit in it, and not have to dodge bullets’ grens/booby traps, to get to a place to lay a rally :stuck_out_tongue:

the number of players cannot be DIRECTLY controlled by the developer. but it can be heavily influenced by rewards. give a good silver bonus for joining the weaker side, and see population magically balance itself. must be a real chunk of silver, 20% more wont cut it im afraid.

there was this game called Heroes and Generals that did exactly this and it was terrible and didnt solve a single problem , the dogpiling was the same , the balance was worse off because of factors that admittedly dont apply here but the general experience did not improve because of it . the amount of players that are A. willing to not play their heavily decked out squads B. Even want to be something else than a wehraboo or weaboo or a burger or soviet onion are slim

TL;DR people be peopleing , give them a bonus and they will find a way to game it in their favor

20 seconds is too long to capture the point. the point should be captured in 1 second. Otherwise, the Axis suffers greatly.

H&G has vast German playerbase but very shite quality one too, they legit never win a single war… while keep getting nerfed to oblivion, the thing qith a game with hefty grind, is gard to make people drop the shite they grinded to play other faction…

This is what many players who would not have built a spawn point in other circumstances might think, so it’s great and I’m happy.

don’t know how it was early on but later on in that game’s life it was either germany or russia usually winning world war mode

In Enlisted, instead of feeding endless under BR’d, underexperienced players into hilariously stacked german teams, you could just uncap german queue times and leave them to wait for week until the matchmaker would be able to put together a reasonably balanced match, for all I care
The game will eventually die if new players end up endlessly curbstomped and quit or give up and join the stack
Sure, going as BR5 US can be kind of fun for a while, but it is extremely draining and frustrating at the end of the day, especially considering how lopsided the game balance currently is. Anytime I see trash ass german team get like 400 tickets a cap (when you know allies would get like 150, maybe) I die inside a little
