Bomber airstrikes are way too op, they happen far too frequently and cover so much of the map that defending objectives is now virtually untenable. It is not a fun mechanic and allows even the best players to be wiped out by someone who isn’t participating in the battle except for calling in airstrikes.

If you go prone before the bombs detonate you survive them 90% of the time

I’m between three ideas about this.
- the bomber get banned like you said.
- Sacrifice like 700 (less or more score) points score if the player has it and he could use the bombing.
- during the battle have a team have the bomber use limit can be type 2 or four times or more and less times

Just build AA or get in a fighter / attacker easy to wipe out formations now.

I really don’t like bombers, its essentially using a radioman to call in a free 15+ kills. 100% agree with its removal.

I have to agree why have this mechanic in game you have tanks and player planes. they do fair at bombing. just add a heavy bomber to game for players to use. I find its op and breaks the game .

I’ve actually started to reevaluate bombing runs.
Admittedly, it is a rather unimaginative and boring invention that needs to be redone but you can have 3-4 precise artillery strikes instead of one bombing run, and they are much more effective.
In Stalingrad, they were never a major problem.
In the pacific, without any good cover, it was a problem.
But now since the big nerf and ability to shoot down those bastards (now with HMG and with fighters) I can’t see any big problems with it.
Ofc, the game is an explosion festival, but that’s a bigger issue than the bombing runs.

Well this is very annoying for tanks in particular. Let’s say I’m in my tank, and I’m supporting my team at the objective; great. And then a dude calls in an airstrike. Can’t really run away, and the objective’s not capped yet. So I keep supporting, until boom, there goes half the team and my tank. Even if you get in an AA gun or a plane, the most you can get down is 2 or 3 at the maximum. It’s basically just a huge pain for you and your team.

TL;DR, annoying mechanic which kills you and you can’t do anything about it
Personally I don’t mind bomber strikes. They aren’t too bad if you plan out your cover right, prone before strike, and best countered with shovels since you just dig in and wait for it to pass.
The bomber changes were in the right direction, but i still feel like they are a little too tough, at least vs planes. I see them smoking now from damage. But never credit me for a kill despite putting all of my ammo into one. Ill have to test with AA since they were moderately effective before the recent update.

Guys I was sceptical too at the beginning. But they arent that big of a deal eversince 2-3 shots with the AA is taking them down.
In addition to that: the timer is higher now and you have plenty of time to search for cover.

I suggest bombing run could be use only once by each player in a game

Arty should also be removed. Enlisted is better off without these ability anyways
They have tools to eliminate the planes but they prefer to come to the forum to cry.
Like the USA players who cry for the Tigers when they can destroy them in a thousand different ways.

Bombing formations? Yeah. I don’t think so.
the problems isnt in the bomber airstrikes, but in the fact, bots dont do anything about it
firstly, my post on advanced squad orders had not received much attention, and now you whine on bomber airstrikes having to be removed?
should my suggesion pass, in matter of seconds, your squad would look like this:
you’d be very unlucky to lose any of your soldiers.

P.S. i dont think bombers should get removed
I understand that just getting prone can help you suvive a bomber strike. I’m just annoyed that I can’t do much about it if I’m in a tank(which I often am)
