I found most semi-autos and automatic weapons underperforming in all campaigns.
Some of them however being best weapons available in the game.
On one hand I disagree with OPâs argument but on the other hand I also really hate useless snipers so anything that nerfs them is good in my mind.
That would be possible if the automatic weapon didnât have a bullet spread
Compared to what? They were a one shot kill even before the buff. The only thing the buff does is to help at distances over 250 m and at that distance the shooter himself is at a disadvantage because of the size of the target he has to aim at, the lead he has to take for a running shot, the time it takes the bullet to reach the target and the fact that any movement of your target will result in a miss.
What do you think about this?
BA buff supporters logic is very weird. When I say âBA is too powerfulâ, they say, âThen use it.â
On the other hand, when I say âPlz buff auto weapon that previously nerfedâ they say, âYouâre a disgusting auto spam user.â
Their arguments are inconsistent.
I donât think they want a good balance.
They just want the weapon they want to play to be powerful
I always advocate adding reflective effect to the sniperâs sight to let players know that there are snipers, otherwise they can stay in a safe place and attack infantry without taking any risk
You do know that lens flare only happen when youâre facing the sun, no? It would be weird to have lens flare on a rainy overcast map. Also snipers knew that was a problem and they found ways to fix it (cloth with a hole in it tied over the front lens)

No one call you auto spammer if you ask for qol improvment, like reduce dispersion or standardize their damage to 6.0 for example

Learn how to use cover and actually flank around to bypass snipers. Also counter sniping is a thing so use your rifle against the sniper.

This is a viable solution when complex terrain is present. But in the open, there seems to be nothing to do but smoke bombs
You have to get used to that a lot of things are unfortunately unfair in this game - like fighting against an enemy tank that is impenetrable by your rounds, having much less skilled players in your team than in the enemy one or people from your own team leaving a match that will leave you at an incredible disadvantage.
The issue you describe is a minor one. The âproblemâ you describe is the only advantage the sniper class has (an advantage in ranged combat) and when your own team allowed him to move into a favorable position to spawncamp then mistakes have been made earlier that allowed this.
I just build an AA position in sight of the enemy attacker spawn last match and they had even less chance to fight back there. Thatâs not an issue of âAA too strong - should be nerfedâ though. Youâre blaming the wrong part. Your suggestion to nerf the damage of a sniper rifle at long ranges is like suggesting to nerf the AA damage against planes - it would completely undermine the intended strength of a class for the sake of your own comfort.
Apart from that the sniper class is amongst the earliest unlocks and I believe many campaigns already start with them. So you just have to take one yourself to counter snipe.
I think most complaints about sniper class being OP comes from Pacific Campaign.
As those maps are extremly open and terrain favors ranged combat in some points, this results in devastating sniper spams oportunities, especially with USMC 1903A3, which i find supperior.
Yes, in other battles I didnât feel the snipers were too strong, and because of the open map in the Pacific campaign, it was often the case that a team was killed by snipers altogether. There was no such problem in the Battle of Berlin, there were many ruins in Berlin, and it was found that snipers could go around the ruins and kill the snipers, and the Pacific had to stand still and do nothing
Or, and this is just a thought⌠Enter chat and write âenemy sniper over there, we need a sniper to take him outâ. I know⌠It sounds crazy, but it might work. Instead of asking for nerfs, learn to use all of your teams assets, including the ones you donât like (snipers). Also you can ask the team sniper for confirmation of kill so the team knows when the threat is eliminated.
It requires to do more things than to take SMG and rush so itâs not doable.
