Considering the -50% sale of infantry/tank/plane squads on the Gaijin Store and in the Logistics Part of the game: What are your experiences? Are there squads you find were totally worth it and some of them which are rather meh?

BA,11, Pz38(t), MG13, BAR M1918, Polish BAR, Engineer squads, Berlin rifle squads, Sten Mk.III and FNAB squad, Premium Panther and M4 in Berlin. Maybd the Firefly if you wanna counter the Panther.

In Berlin the russian PPD 40 squad is pretty nice. In Normandy both axis and allied Browning MG squads are decent. These squads have really good guns, so you could farm xp with them easily.

For me BAR squad, Engineer squads (my favourite Johnson M1941 squad) and M4A2 Sherman Berlin. Firefly only if you want to spend so much but you ain’t missing anything as we will get more levels in Normandy and probably better free tank for Allies to deal with German tanks more effective.

Is the I-16 Moscow Campaign Squad any good? I’m wondering if it is actually any improvement over the I-153 or will already be outclassed once the lvl 15 Yak-1 gets unlocked.
Be like me, buy every one of them. And regret nothing.

The I-16 is better than the yak in my humble opinion
Tbh in Moscow fighters don’t have so much impact on gameplay. It’s more about attacker planes.
If you like Moscow the 9 men semi auto rifle teams were pretty nice for grinding

I disagree. If attackers are important. Then fighters are important to shoot down the enemy attackers

I don’t see them at all there. IL-2 shoots down Stuka with ease. Germans are mostly using that attacker BF for killing other planes. Yak and BF 109s I see once in 50 games. Even I don’t use them.
True. But if you play alot of air it is nice to have a backup fighter in case some dude with a bf 110 decides to play fighter role
And for those rare times you actually see a bf 109, the I-16 beats it in turnfights

I don’t care if someone is using BF 109 lol. What’s he gonna do? Bomb me to death with those small bombs lol. If I see IL-2 or that big Russian bomber I’ll take that attacker BF to kill them plus I have 250 kg bombs. That’s my point. Effective for both roles. Stuka goes down fast if IL-2 pilot knows what’s he doing and you can also kill that attacker BF if you have the upper hand in IL-2. And IL-2 is decent at clearing targets on ground. Stuka both are good for ground attacks but lacking at air fight. The only campaign I’m using fighter is Normandy which is BF 109 G6. Reasons are obvious.

Read the number again. I said 110. No soviet attacker plane can properly deal with a 110 without alot of luck. Which is why it is nice to have a backup fighter in reserve as soviets. For when some dude who actually knows what he is doing is flying a 110

That might be because axis players never go for IL-2s wich they easily could because the IL-2 is a flying brick.
Oh sry. My bad. Somehow I read 109. For now I downed every single 110 with my IL-2. However I see more Stukas than those.
Yeah all good. I agree with you on the rest though. I usually just use the 110 as anti air aswell
Give the console players a week or 2 to catch up and you will find it even easier than before to shoot people down with the IL
