T-29 u.s. prototype
First built in march 1944. Showed that it can succesfully penetrate tiger 2 and 1 armor in conducted tests. But never mass produced or saw action cause eisenhower and us military in general thought heavy tanks are waste of time and money since lighter tanks are more reliable, easily produceable and logistically easier to deal.
Pros
More turret armor (203mm compared to 185mm)
Similar gun (Tiger II had better ‘all purpose’ APHE while the T29 had better AT solid shot)
Better mobility (12 HP/t compared to 10.3)
Cons
Less hull armor (102mm at 50 degree compared to 150mm at 50 degree)
Some say add pershing but pershing is really far fetched for 1944.
We see a lot of rare guns and prototypes in game already .Devs should add it.
So finally normandy allies can just stop whining and shut up
Not to mention that adding it would just give the US their own version of a Tiger wich seems counter intuitiv with the asymmetric balancing. If they do that Axis should get a CAS aircraft that´s as good as the P-47.
If I don’t get a Pershing, the Hellcat would satisfy me. Even if ppl whine about Hellcat having open tap blahblahblah, weaker than tiger 2 blahblahblah.
I remember just spamming Hellcat in H&G and defeating big fat KT while doing this:
What we were promised pre-alpha was a D day map where the allies have greater numbers but Germans are dug in deep with good fortifications.
That’s what I think of when I hear assymetric balance, not “well my level 6 reward is bad so it justifies your level 8 reward being bad” like you always hear here.

don’t know about you but i managed to get axis equipment working up to the ostu, since i’ve yet to use that squad, and tanks since jap tube (type 5 rocket) and the magical 60 kilos work soo much better for Anti tank duties
no, they are very very comparable and i know this because i USE both of those also 99% of people seem to sleep on the 30 mk108s of the 110g-2 since it’s both good at raping aircraft and infantry alike
