Took off in a half winged + half tailed Normandy Airfield biplane then proceeded to down 2 allied planes with it.

Alwayes wanted to kill a plane with a explosive pack or with a flamethrower.
Saw one guy who killed a pilot (and then plane) with a flamey.
Was so satisfying to see that blimping hit marker lol.
All the time I get in one of those, enemey AI keeps peppering me, sadge.

Shooting the tail off from il-2 with a short smg burst. Super unexpected.
Shooting down a german attacker with a browning m1919 during the “shoot plane down with a machine gunner”-challenge. Very satisfying as this took a few games.
Any time you kill an enemy plane on your tail by going low and then dropping bombs. Gotcha.

I killed an enemy plane (I was unaware of) with a bomb one time in the Moscow campaign.

I do this from time to time…
But my favourite way is when I use a fighter on a very tanky plane such as the IL, it survives my salvoes and as I pass over it, I “land” on it, just ahead enough to break it’s propellers and let me continue my merry way.
“You don’t want to go down? I’ll make you!”

I also once ran out of ammo and jumped out of plane before crashing into enemy plane
And it even registered as a kill

I pilot sniped a dauntless in Tunisia with a pot shot from a Carcano. I didn’t think it was possible to do that but I though: “Those bombs are heading for me anyways, may as well try to put a hole in them.”

I remember landing on an IL-2 with the HS-123 myself. landing gear seems to be more powerful than 1000 rounds of 8mm Mauser.

On Tunisia as Allies used an AA gun to kill incoming plane that had gone uncontested for too long. He squared up to make a pass and I hit him once, all four bullets connected and there weren’t even pieces left to fall from the sky.

Normandy as Allies, I was flying the A20, had 2 planes really close on my tail trying to kill me. I flew to a fairly open stretch and got REALLY low and cut throttle down to where I was just gliding (they probably thought I was trying to land), and dropped bombs and slammed full speed on the throttle. Took out BOTH enemy planes at once.

Recently with the Axis Normandy Ju-188. I’ve gotten in the habit of shutting off my engine about 1500m away and gliding in for a dead silent run (so ground units don’t have time to seek cover, and so I’m not quickly targeted by fighters). As I’m making my approach I hear an enemy plane and my gunners note that he is nearby, but don’t start shooting. Suddenly, he comes up right in front of me, as he had been directly beneath my plane. Needless to say its the only time I’ve ever seen my front gunners bullets reliably hit.

I once headshot a pilot using a plane, but my favourite was ejecting into the path of a chasing plane and taking us both out.
I wish I could say it was intentional.

Just had a game where I somewhat killed an enemy plane with an airstrike. Unsure what exactly happened to it need to rewatch a replay.

Did you actually shoot three aircraft down with a PPSh, or did you just shoot them before they slammed their plane into the ground for easy credit?
In any case, this is the best one I have on video. Recording software unfortunately turned itself off when I got the flamethrower kill.
