Aight let’s stir up some commotion and debates. Which nation’s got the best starter LMG?

Bonus question, which one has the best starter SMG?

Dang. Another one of those times where I really did not expect to be misunderstood. The very first gun in the tree

There’s nothing like starter MG, since all of them are at least BR2.

But I like the Japanese Type 11 most. Especially because of its unique reload system. You can use up all your ammo effectively. Which is very important for new players. Since they can’t have bug ammo bags yet.

You should elaborate what do you mean by starter smg.

If we dont count event/BP (I assume thats what you mean by starter)

this might sound dumb…but I really like the Breda…But used like a Semi Auto, not an MG

at least I think this is the 1st in line…If 1st in line doesnt matter, ZB-26 is certainly my favourite.

Bren MK 1 is way up there too.

Best?..Cant pick. I like alot of them…If Gold order counts, Wz. 39 Mors wins for me

Starter as the first weapon in it’s class in the tree?
For best first LMG I would say Breda 30, maybe I’m just biased since I used that weapon a lot pre-merge.
Best SMG is the Japanese S-100 SMG obviously.

For br 2 lmgs my favourite are the following in no particular order: mg 13, bren mk 1/2, and type 97

If we count premium ones then ls 26, mg 30 and besal

For starter smgs i would pick sten mk 2, beretta m 38a and ppd 34

For smg I would say URSS with PPD 34 that have a massive rate of fire or the american with the sten gun with his big mag for his br and his recoil is easy to control

Tbh I’m surprised ppl like breda so much. Personally I abandoned it as quickly as possible.
Though it was long time ago so maybe it’s different now.

ZB is definitely my favourite Tech Tree BR 2 overall…but Breda is first in line for the purpose of the question.
