Best engineer to NOT engineer player?

This is probably the bizillion time to similar post have been open , but I will do it again, maybe someday dep will see.

IS NOT okay to give the “best engineer” award to someone who didn’t build a single thing and have 0 engineer points.

engineers can very well win the match , by placing good Spawn point and defenses, but the point u get is simple almost nothing, plus!! if you don’t get the “best soldier award” cause u were spending ur time winning the game instead of farming kills, after a 20 30 minute game u get almost nothing. even with +50 engineers points.

THIS discourages any Teamwork why I would ever focus on winning the game , and spending time building things when I can just KILL, even if we lose I get more points.

thank you , Please consider give MUCH MORE rewards to those who use engineers properly

The actual best engi gets tactician badge so they get some credit.
Or at least that’s how it seem to work.

The best tactician dont allways get the "best soldier award, specially if you are not in the top on the list.

? Do you mean that it doesn’t give xp multiplier?

What pisses me off is that you receive zero points for destroying enemy rally points. Just as important as building rally beacons for your team, often changes the momentum of a battle

I updated the first post , , I made +70 engineers point , how many of that actually translate to real exp points after battle, ? very little , u can compare to the other guys in my team , they have similar points , with similar kills ,

Just concentrate on getting more kills as an engineer, even if it’s just spamming TNT before you switch to an assaulter or whatever

I think I figured it out across a few battles today.

Best engineer is for getting the most points while using an engineer.

Best tactician is for building, or at least building near the objective.
You don’t necessarily even need to build anything to get best engineer, in theory.

My experience today was that when I built a lot of things like AT guns and rally points away from the objective and went on a killing spree while controlling an engineer, I got best engineer but not best tactician.
But when I would use engineers to set up sandbags, wire, and ammo on a point before switching to a machine gunner to actually defend the point to the furthest extent, I got best tactician but not best engineer.

Tactician badge is given to most point captured player, so engineers with most building point will only get that badge if no one get any capture points(ie. defence side).

Best Engineer is given to the individual engineer that gain highest score, if you build a lot with one single engineer, you may get that badge without killing.

But I agreed Best Engineer badge should given with priority to building score.
