I think they should be added back. Germany lifted the ban in 2018 so they can still have the game there. I agree with others, it looks terrible censored. Historically accurate representation of Berlin during this period is what I want. But who knows with the puritans running around.

You started off by stating you where happy with the censorship of the SS and that the nazi’s where to blame for the censorship so I retorted by pointing out we have NKVD in game and that Soviet Union where also censorous, me pointing out that we have NKVD in game and the USSR being censorous is not a whataboutism.
It is me retoring your silly statment of knowing enough history to blame the Nazi’s for censorship by pointing out that censoring has long been used after Nazi Germany.
And if you’re happy for the SS to be censored then you should be calling for NKVD to be treated in kind.

I understand that. When the Soviet Union occupied Eastern Poland they massacred soldiers and officers of the Polish army. Germany, the Soviet Union, and Japan all committed horrible atrocities but Germany seems to be the only one that everyone cares about.

Its not about the people, its the laws
Nazi iconography is in a lot of American Movies, TV shows and Videos Games as there are no laws against it, it is protected under the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights. There are, however, strong laws against Nazi iconography in many European countries like Russia and Germany.
Also for all you Wehraboos, there are also soviet symbols censored in the game as well, most notably would be the NKVD uniforms for the assaulter squad missing a number of pins and patches.

I think streaming is where it would be really problematic, Twitch would hit people with the ban hammer, and so would youtube.

Why should I, an american who enjoys accurate historical games, be given a less quality product because of some other people thousands of miles away?
As I keep reading, it’s only banned in public events. Video games, educational purposes, etc. are allowed in all the countries that have them banned.
So I am really confused as to which countries people are referring to?

In the end, it’s up to the devs so whether they want to or not is all up to them.
Back in 2020 when they showed the trailer for Berlin it had the symbol everywhere on flags. You could see it in a lot of frames.

The issue here is they generally need a separate client for X countries. But with online f2p games, the issue with the “honour” rule of download the X client would lead to the game being banned from X countries.
