im lvl 8 and i just cant compete im constantly against good players with ppsh and ppd, i dont have the equipment to compete and even if my team is decent we are all low lvl.
i dont think its a problem of balancement with the equipment itself (no ppd and ppsh are not OP) but even i quitted axis berlin bc it was just too frustarting, i am playing this game to have fun and i dont want to farm a side that is frustarting and enraging to play, so if someone has a solution to it you’re free to open a debate under this post.
Perhaps they should widen the map a bit ? with more open areas. Idk nothing about those maps but could be something. The map seems pretty narrow looking at it from youtubers but havent seen that much of it so to speak. Heard about snipers active on it though so should be room for that
There is no real solution, just russian factions where everyone spams 3 assault squads with ppsh which is like 3 times as good as every german mp.
So the only thing i found enjoyable is just to play Tunisia, no ppsh spam there no other full auto rifle spam as well. Ofc ppl like to play assaults and so on there as well, the thing is just no gun there seems to be mental imba like the ppsh so everyone has a good time.
I feel you. Its Berlin so Berlin is all about the CQB power which is what the Russians excel at the most. Early Germans dont get alot of great things but become better later. I stuck it through for the FG42 II and Tiger but dont worry, reinforcements will arrive when they announce the StG44 I’ll be looking forward to returning as I do miss the maps and how its much more infantry focused as compared to wide open areas of Normandy

for the rest, nade spam is the berlin way.
if you need to progress somewhat faster, you can do it in custom matches.
for how shit they can be, those are easy for farm due to lots of different equipment combined.
and then, if you struggle to get squad point, just do custom matches on your own against bots ( although, slow xps for campaign, and slow soldier veterancy ).
so that way, you can mitigate.
and last but not least, if you have others campaings with g43, mp40s, mg34s, upgrade them there, and than transfer. that will save you time behind the yellow tech tree.
Fair enough but since i know youre an good player being an pinch purse isnt needed at all ^^
I mean im currently arming all my soldiers with FG42s atm even my mortarmen xD + all AT guys have mines as my Snipers has AP mines. And everyone has good pistols to xD I mean they have been on the top of weaponry all the way up here to so its not like its an issue
You can always get bronze from those weapons later to so its well worth it if youre being and teching as an assaulter that is
Also to add this is my best hipster move yet xD Best buy ive ever made for my well deserved fighter pilot. Not sure yet if i want an AP or AT mine though…
In my experience, Berlin is a bit rough until you get the MG-34. Next milestone is Panther. After that you are good to go. Also i would suggest unless something better comes in the coming update get the Gewehr 43 (golden weapon) if you have a spare gold order. One of the best guns in game and it helps a lot in Berlin axis grind.
