Because of Jets, Create Rider II And give them AA Vehicles alongside Ground Vehicles ( Major Content Update Material )

greetings. today i come with yet another suggestion.

and this suggestion TL;DR it’s essentially some sort of repost ( with more details ) of the following:

but since no one will re-read it,

here is the run down and the points i’m trying to tackle with this one:

  • introduce a “”“new class”“” based on the existing one
  • introduce iconic ground vehicles ( light vehicles such as jeeps up to light armored vehicles / armored cars )
  • Separate AAs from tank slots
  • introduce more AAs for all brs
  • Introduce Logistic vehicles ( For support role )

without further ado,

The New Class - Rider II

the new class, is not technically new.
but what they can drive, will be.

this new class will essentially be able to spawn and drive slighlty bigger vehicles compared to the rider type I ( as in bigger than bikes ) while also having occasionally the ability to have up to 6 soldiers ( as long the vehicle allows it ).

Changes and prerequisites in order to function

the BA-11, M8 Greyhound, Daimler Armored car and vehicles alike needs to be recategorized as Premium / Separate them into a Rider II type of squad. because those are armored cars. not Tanks, which have no place in. and in the GAZ AA, Flakpanzer I, Ta-Se & M13 cases, those are not tank either. hence needs to be removed as tank, and recategorized as riders II.

moving these vehicles will allow to let tanks do their job, and add 2 new vehicle slots to these new light vehicles. which can include AA, or Armored Cars.

and above all, as suggested from ages

REMOVE OVERHEAT.

most AA are rather weak. and everyone has anti tank rifles, molotovs or explosive packs.

Why Riders II?

well, the idea was to make this a " reconnaissance / anti infantry / anti AA / Motorized " squad.
with the main feature is the ability to " customize it ".
being somewhat a jack of all trades, with the heavy limitations dictate from what you carry.

want to make a motorized squad with 6 soldiers and one engineer?
you can do it.

want an AA while not taking tank slots? pick a rider II.

want to harass enemy infantry with armored cars while being speedy but at the cost of armor?
take an armored car from the rider II.

want to drive quickly and safely instead of flipping the bike every goddamn time?
take a jeep and go wild offroad.

as for the squad composition, it’s essentially like APC squads, with the exceptions of being able to use one or two engineers. at the cost of only one machinegunner, and perhaps only one assaulter / medic. you may get access to a single anti tank trooper. the rest are default troopers and one rider is required to operate vehicles.

and speaking of vehicles,
riders II ideally would be able to drive:

New Vehicles

:warning: all the vehicles listed are just mere suggestions, they don’t all have to be introduced, but it would be great to include down the line :warning:

although, for this idea, in order to include all vehicles of each type, the Rider II would have dedicated levels in the tech tree for low br and high br ( but it’s up to devs )

which includes one logistical vehicle, one jeep, one armored jeep and one AA ( or more )

Logistic vehicles will essentially be support role vehicles. they will not be weaponized ( unless premium. but it’s up to devs as well ), but they will allow players to support their team by parking said vehicles next to an objective, and other teammates can interact with this vehicle either for Ammunitions ( Simialar to what rider type 1 can do with their bikes and attached ammo boxes already ) Medkits or Engineer Resources. ideal to get access to a larger quantity of supplies of a specific area. and if needed to, can be relocated ( opposed as having to dismantle a box like engy ) available right away at low brs. ( perhaps before the bike )

NOTE:
i am unsure weather unite ammo and medkits within the same vehicle while keeping Engineer Resources vehicles onto dedicated one. it’s not set in stone. this will be a matter that developers will have to decide as they see fit. for the sake of this suggestion, i’ll be providing each separate vehicle as separate.

in the Logistic Vehicles Pool, players will be able to select either a

Medical Vehicle
Ammunition Vehicle
Pioneer Vehicle

they are all self explanatory. Medical one grants the ability to grab medkits, ammo allows to replenish all type of ammo ( within Faction restrictions ) and Pioneers vehicles will allow engineers to replenish Construction Resourches to build more if there was ever a need.

Considerations:

  • Why X - Y

i tried to balance all of them. but… there are some defecensies ( mainly japan ).
hence, captured requipment is the only answer.

  • why would i bother to drive a logistic vehicle when i could place medkits / build ammo crates?

because from trucks/cars you will have way more uses before it runs out ( ideally, 9 times more ).
and above all, you can reposition them. but you are not forced to use supply trucks. after all, there’s a reason why i wanted to separate them but still get access to use them. it’s more for team play.
i know. kinda a rare thing in enlisted or the forums. but it also benefits mods.

  • germany has way to many armored cars!

because they were somewhat the only nation that made lots of those.
and as a collector, i kinda want all of them as well.
P.s. i didn’t even scratched the surface.

Agree they should have separate vehicle spawn slot from Tanks it’s just stupid that you take tank spot while want to shoot some planes. Also remove overheat mechanics.

And Bikes need their own personal spawn point for your infantry squads. I dunno why they haven’t implemented it yet. Just giving them ammo box was a band aid fix that haven’t changed anything. Especially since you will have engy and be able to build ammo boxes anyway.

Hard agree since I was able to get the Soviet and the German Event SPAA “Tanks” from the current event loot boxes, but as long as they take up a Tank slot I can never really see myself using them so they will just rot in my reserve.

They could only let you to spawn on them nobody from your team could be able to use it. They could easily tweak it for example make it like rally so you can’t spawn when enemies are nearby, bike will generate sound like rallies just louder, you will be limited to only two respawns per bike life and it will take longer to let you spawn there. That way we can keep it balanced and not replace Rallies and APCs. it will be mostly used as a side spawn point for you when rally is occupied by multiple people and you can’t spawn.

I’d say that at this point it would be good to increase the player count in a match. Otherwise only 4 out of 10 players will be infantry (unless they use bikes or APCs).
And it would be good if such increase would also include bigger playable area and bigger objectives. Otherwise it may become very crowded.

although… playable zone is exactly the same.

personally, in my experience though, there’s rarely 2 tanks and 2 airplanes active at all time.

most either go for tanks, or airplanes.
but never both.

maybe i’m just lucky.

hence why after careful considerations, the 2 AA limits wouldn’t have caused too much issue considering that most vehicles are lighlty armored or open top.

hence BACK TO THE SPAWNING SCREEN.

the limit was also to prevent overusage of vehicles. which bikes do not have.
but 5 team bikes is not the same as 5 team wiberlwinds.

P.s i cannot deny most of this suggestion was made for mods in mind too.
id be lying if i said i didn’t.

You can already put an engineer inside the Rider Squad, so I don’t really see why the vehicle itself should also act as a rally point, even if its just a personal rally. (I could see it actually reducing the number of rallies, if a player knows they can just personally spawn on their little bike they may not care to take the time to build a proper rally point for the entire team)
