welgun is bad

Not even too bad, Iād say.
Compared to its direct competitor, the Welgun beats the OG-43 in mag size, but the latter feels more accurate.
I can see why the Welgun would be rejected though. The upper receiver is open on both sides, and thereās no cocking handle at all. It has to be cocked by directly grabbing the bolt on both sides and pulling it back, like an oversized handgun.
That looks like an unsafe system, prone to both allow more dirt/debris inside the gun, and harder to rearm in battle conditions, not counting the higher risk of accidental discharge should the bolt slip out of the hand.
But 
aside,
Thatās a nice squad. It feels very balanced, not underpowered nor OP. I like the choice of weapons in the crate too.

paras are good no matter the weapon they use

Tried the weapons in editor with a stock rifleman I soldier (3-3-3) without any perks.
The recoil was very, very managable. Almost didnāt noticed it, tbh. Awesome weapons.
Hereās a bot-farming preview before tomorrow if you will get a first glimpse and impression if you donāt know what you want to buy.

Damnit. Iām even more indecisive now. The Gorov looks surprising, I wasnāt expecting much from it, but it looks interestingā¦ seems to behave like the ZB26, which is a great āBar likeā lmgā¦

But after g43kurz, coooomders or shnipaniy (ahah canāt remember how yo type this), I became used to this.
After the war thunder conversion they āmightā not be so power creep anymoreā¦ If they have correct br.
At least theyāre very limited, 1200 gold a piece is a lot!

I just donāt understand.
Theyāre releasing stuff like soviet MG for everyone, but already unobtainable Mkb 35/iii was somewhat problematic for vehicle crews.
I will never forgive them this injustice.

Though seriously, we are slowly getting to a point where we should either change stuff to be class locked or allow everybody to use everything. Because this double standard wonāt work in the long run.

Iām more of a collector than someone who needs to minmax stuff. I always try to get 1 of each, at least. I even got the German counterpart to the best gold order ever, the Soviet BerdanII. Because itās elegant. From a more civilized era. Itās in my lineups still, in the hands of the rifleman accompanying one of my sniper squads in Moscow.
Only exception is the g43k. Got as many as I could back when playing Berlin axis was a torture. Needed the boostā¦

I really donāt know why so people like this weapon. To me personally, itās extremely mediocre. At best little above average.
I bought one, didnāt like it much. So I gave it to tanker. I like the its Russian counterpart way more.
Itās really just a belt fed ppsh41 but with 100 instead of 71 bullets.
I love it in custom. It does brrrrrrr!!! And it scares ppl away.
Idk, i didnāt study stats, but it had way worse feeling than mp41r or mp717r
