well, war thunder marketplace have chests, keys, skins, decals, and entire vehicles. of which you can’t access most of these from the get go.
hence… ""somewhat makes sense “” ( it’s more of gatcha than anything & loot boxes… )
it’s much different from enlisted where you can buy directly gold order weapons / tanks / soldiers from the shop instead of using a marketplace to buy a gold card from someone else.
again, makes somewhat more sense with squads.

i suppose that’s a valid concern and not too far from reality.
What I mean is that the Market clearly showed that people are willing to pay poop its weight in gold, as long as it’s rare collectible poop.
Although you may be right, and the Devs may eventually choose to make gold orders not tradable, if they do gold orders will be worth a lot in the market.
As long as their price stays lower than the equivalent purchase cost in gold, there will be people willing to buy them.
From the Devs’ perspective, it would be like running a permanent sale on golden guns, without actually doing it and most likely at an almost negligible discount, while still boosting sales.

That’s not quite right. Golden orders could be actually more expensive than buying BP stuff for E golds.
Why? Because you can’t buy the most recent stuff for E golds. And GO are still very limited.
So Erica just isn’t right about this. But she’s right about devs could possibly not allow that.

Yeah, I forgot about that detail. This alone (being able to buy gold guns immediately instead of waiting for next season) is more than enough to boost GO value well above their equivalent in gold.

I definitely won’t mention any hidden stuff that definitely was’t added as well.
Please consider revamping the next battle pass rewards.
At the current conversion rate of silver orders and bronze to the new silver new currency the rewards will be pretty bad when the merge happens.
Plus rather than the gold orders I’d very much like to know what are the rewards within the battle-pass post merge as this is where the true value of having the battle-pass lies.

So what though? It still costs more to buy each weapon and upgrade them.
Plus we dont know how many BRs there will be but there are 6 presets per faction x 4 factions that’s 24. That’s double the current amount assuming theres only 6 BRs.
So you would have to equip each BR you want to play and it’s more expensive per weapon and per item in the new system.
I mean, to me, you just sound like you want the game to be more free than it already is. shrug I think the conversion is fine. But you do you.

I’m not a free to play player, since almost my first week of playing this game I’ve always have battlepass and always have premium subscription when I play. I just want it to be updated with the merge and to be scalable to new currency system.
Don’t make assumptions about people. Just read what they say and form your opinions on their actual statement.

No not at all.
The price of the battle-pass I assume will remain at it’s current price the same it has been for years.
However, if the merge happens midway through the next battle-pass. All the rewards within that battle pass will be worth significantly less due to the conversion rate.
I’m not concerned with the price, I always buy it when I’m playing. I just want the rewards to be updated within the new system. Otherwise I may as well wait until the merge to buy the battle-pass so I get better rewards when I complete each level as they will be at hopefully a higher value then.
Or at least some info on if and how it will be updated with the merge so I can make an educated decision.
