Order rewards arent shown correctly - silver rewards cant even be seen - but I can still tell that they are way too low. You make truly fast progress with paid access + premium pass and especially in the beginning where you do 3-4 lvls after one successful match, leaving you with ~12 points to enhance your participating troops each. So the amount of silver required for new soldiers, new weapons and explosion packs is extreme but the income is not even nearly keeping up the pace means you run dry extremely fast.
Flamethrower tanks are so far very situational if not rather underwhelming. For weird reasons they struggle to set enemy tanks on fire and since most capture points are within huge buildings in Stalingrad, they aren’t even having much opportunity to use these mighty flamethrowers. So youre usually an easy target.
Hey @1942786 , will players on series x who cannot play Stalingrad still be able to unlock campaign levels in other campaigns?
The level is present in the tree, and the xp bar goes up, but it is a blank picture, with no description or anything of the sort.
I don’t want to grind out the levels for nothing.
Thanks.
Photo for reference.
jesus crist the sounds, how bolt actions performs, the speed one can level, the vehicle decals/camos. medics,
what the fuck this is amazing!
- Fixed a bug which didn’t allow picked up allied weapons to have their ammunition replenished.
Ah Finally
Yes, you can unlock levels now, and you will get squads after the update comes out.
Good to know. Thank you.
Reward transmission currently doesnt function correctly. I just completed a mission becoming #1 of my team. In the after match conclusion it said almost all squads made at least one level.
Being back in the campaign overview: NOT a single squad upgrade. NO soldier perk progress. NO campaign progress added. NO order rewards added. NO battle pass mission progress. No “become 1st of your team” star reward. Not even the one for “Complete one Battle”.
This is the second time in 3 matches that this happened now at it doesnt appear like its just a minor delay of server communication as the rewards of the first match from 2h ago still werent added.
I log off now since currently playing makes apparently no sense. Please fix this.

I’m not even sure I like the new “one time purchase only” monetization system. Making campaign progress was never a problem with Enlisted (to the points where premium squads became useless) but with Stalingrad it happens WAY too fast to be an enjoyable journey. Especially at the beginning youre getting lots of new squads and squad progress points galore after each match, requiring absurd amounts of silver and bronze orders to keep them outfitted properly. Therefor premium pass and premium units appear entirely obsolete to me now - except for those who want an unfair ingame advantage, most noticeable at early stages.
And even while I’m kind of a whale I feel like leaving out levels to the F2P faction is just some kind of forcefeed and turns the F2P aspect into some kind of demo. So either you pay 30€ for each a new campaign now or people will possibly avoid these new campaigns altogether.
All in all after todays impressions the old monetization and progress system appeared preferable to me.
No NKVD gear in Stalingrad? Not even one hat? Keo can we please get hats from Moscow and Berlin and maybe some coats? Other than that ive been enjoying update Stalingrad more than I expected
The flame tanks and airstrikes are fantastic. Also the new sound effects and graphics are well done.
Constructive criticism: To be totally honest, its just another copy and paste, it FEELS like the battle of berlin maps without any open landscape. Actually quite disapointing. Plus you have had 3 plus MONTHS to work on this and you still haven’t fixed the ‘not being able to see the text’ issue while flying a plane because the lettering is white, same colour as clouds and alot of the sky, very lazy on your part in my opinion. Also the text ‘you are controlling vehicle movement’ is still present which blocks the view of the ground target icon making it impossible to see the distance reading, remove it PLEASE, how many times do i and others have to ask? I give the battle of stalingrad two thumbs down because its a copy and paste and it was supposed to be a major update for planes and you didn’t fix some simple as text colour, meh, very disapointing.
On a different note, thanks for what you did do, still enjoy playing immensely, hopefully fix text issue very soon.
Honestly I like the faster Progress, you still lack tons of Orders to outfit my soldiers and therefore most are still running around with Kar98s but with the progress you can afford to skip levels cause you aren’t stuck with the weapons.
For example I could get G41 for all my soldiers like I did in Normandy when I reached the level, I won’t in Stalingrad.
I simply can’t afford to waste Orders to get a gun that will be useless later when I reach the MKb 42 (H). Honetly I think I will MAYBE get 5 MP40s when I feel really fancy and skip most of the weapons until i get the MP-717(3) and the MKbs. I really love the MP40 as a gun but if I have the Chance to save Orders I have too.
In a longer Campaign like Normandy I would have never thought of skipping an MP40 or G41 but why waste precious orders on a gun you will use for a day max in Stalingrad.
That way at least you can finish the campaign and kit out your whole army.
In other campaigns like Berlin all my soldiers are running around with starter rifles cause i simply can’t afford to waste orders on better weapons when I mainly need them for Normandy axis. Therefore every other campaign is less desirable to play since I simply can not use most of the guns cause you have to save your orders.
So yeah I can totally unterstand and support the demand for more orders to progress. The increased XP reward for Stalingrad could have helped here if it would count towards Orders. Not only for the campaign itself but also for other campaigns to ease progression.
You can partly counter the lack of silvers by transfering guns to Stalingrad. Requires a lot of bronze orders though.
And you would need those weapons in other campaigns and therefore the number of orders don’t change. No one really benefits from transferring Kar98 which are lying around. ^^
Unless you finshed the campaigns and/ or dont need some guns there. Had plenty of Mosins in Moscow I dont need because I already have the loadouts I want/ saved them for later. A bit harder on German side as the Kar98k is a starter rifle.
Gotta teach me how to equip all soldiers in Normandy with a G41 as it is locked to a premium squad there
Got me there, of course i meant the G43, since I am at work right now I can’t check the game and seemed to have mixed the numbers.
50kg Bombs are so useless against Tanks. Even if i dropt 4 of them on the Roof of a T-70… he got only really minor dmg, that isso damn ridicolous and useless…
I understand you perfectly as I equally thought about just skipping most guns and soldiers and only invest into those I actually want for the endgame.
But isn’t it like a huge wasted game potential of making it attractive for your playerbase to simply ignore most of the guns from the campaign tree and playing with unskilled soldiers and vehicles just because Bronze/Silver orders are so scarce that it doesn’t make sense on spending them on early to mid campaign gear?
I find that quite sad and would prefer less of a rush through the levels (with the enormeous campaign progress we make) but allowing for a much slower progress instead but higher rewards as a counter that you never truly run out of resources as an active, paying player.
I like it when progress feels earned. Getting the MKb 42 back in Red Orchestra was like a nightmare ride but this way we have finished Stalingrad in no time and then… well everything gets boring.
