Battle of Berlin levels 38 and 39 ideas

These are just some ideas I had for future level content for Berlin as I know that more levels will be coming regardless of anything else so I thought I’d just throw my hat in the ring

Level 38

Axis - STG 44

This one seems pretty obvious people have been asking for it for awhile in Berlin so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this regardless

Allies/Soviets - Fedorov-Degtyarev (forgive me if I have the name mixed up)

It was hard to find information on this weapon. From what I gather it was one of multiple attempts to modify the Fedorov rifle into a MG and this attempt placed the famous Dinner Plate magazine on top. I believe only a couple prototypes were made of this but we’ve already seen some other prototype guns come into Berlin and honestly this doesn’t stand out as much to me as the RD-44 so I’m all for it
I also thought that this would be a nice shake up instead of just adding the same Fedorov MG currently available in the Moscow ‘High Caliber Bundle’

Level 39

Axis - Jagdtiger Tanker III squad

Lots of you guys already know I’ve been preaching this for a minute. If we’re gonna see bigger badder armored vehicles in Berlin I definitely think this is a safer way to go than the Tiger II(H) with the production turret. I believe that King Tiger would be an absolute power house in Berlin which does sound awesome but might be a bit too powerful. I think the Jagdtiger is a really great blend of that high level awesome power while not being over the top, it’s lack or a turret, poor mobility, and slow reload keep it grounded but the strong armor and incredible firepower make it worth the wait.

Allies/Soviets - ISU 152 Tanker III sqaud

A boomstick that makes even the IS2s 122mm look small. I really thought we’d see this bad boy in the High Caliber update you know… because of ridiculously high caliber gun this thing is packing.
Anywho this thing should be an absolute beast for clearing buildings or enemy fortifications. How might it stack up to the armor of the Jagdtiger though? I recommend that these vehicles be outfitted with the BP-540 shells which are capable of punching through the frontal glacis armor of the King Tiger series and would make the ISU a amazing counter to heavy German armor

Now it is worth noting that I have not seen any records of Soviet ISUs being equipped with BP-540 until late 45 and into 46. However in my opinion a minor exception so that the ISU could live up to the name ‘Beast Killer’ it was known for being very effective at destroying Tigers and Panthers.

So there it is guys, the content I’d love to see come to Berlin. I’ve heard that they want every campaign up to 40 levels but honestly I wasn’t sure what to add for a 40th level I’d love to see a belt fed MG42 but since belt fed DPs are a premium weapon idk what would be an appropriate counter for the Soviets so I gave up on those ideas for now.
Anywho please let me know what you guys think I know everyone has different ideas and wants to see different things so lemme know :+1:

I would absolutely love to have the panzerschreck available in the Berlin countryside at long range to easily destroy Soviet tanks.

They’ll add another AS(S)-44, Ah yes, “historically accurate”, as you can see

That’s another really good one but I’m not sure what would be a good Soviet counter… perhaps maybe the American Bazooka but I’m not sure if those were sent over for the Lend Lease agreement

RPG-43 and RPG-1 :grinning:

I imagine that’s the route they’ll probably go, I personally thought that unique Fedorov variant was a more viable option but what do I know lmao

Seriously, seeing so much of this in World War II made me sick to my stomach

Don’t get me wrong I’m not a fan of seeing it in WW2 so much either but since the AS44 is a premium and there’s not too many other options out there this was the ‘best’ and least over the top option thag I could find

I just blame the DF, not you sir

Me too, but I think they’ll probably add more levels before doing large reworks to the progression system

An he didn’t told that in russian section… GJ keo…

During the alpha, the soviets had the panzerschreck (captured)

Omit the fact about lend-lease bazookas by soviets…

I’d match the STG-44 with one of the other AS-44 patterns (they adjusted the AS-44 name to include a specific pattern some time ago, suggesting the future inclusion of other patterns)
While I’d love a Jagdtiger the track record so far would imply it would be another premium. More likely would be a Tiger II that doesn’t have a defective turret mantlet.

We’re also overdue for an AT II squad with panzershrecks.

StG-44 vs StG-44.
Can’t we use experimental weapons less please?

We have a Pz4F2 in moscow, and mkb everywhere but Leningrad… Oh, yes, they haven’t released it yet

Some quiz for EU section…
Do you know the current name of Leningrad? (Do not use google answering the question please)

Why?! Avtomat Fyodorova and RD-44 are more then enough for unhistorical weapons. Both of them should be in premium squads and not in progression.

AFs are actually could be used in Moscow because it was storaged there earlier(≈ 700 pcs, according to the documents), but it wasn’t used in Berlin.

Not again, it’s so boring to have THREE at unlocks identical for both factions… the shreck isn’t even needed since the last faust already is good enough for any vehicle. I’d give Shreck to axis because it’s iconic, but please, something DIFFERENT for Soviets this time…
