Keofox said they are working on making cannon CAS more viable option.
I routinely wipe squads off the map with the Bf-110’s cannons before I even think about using rockets. If you play the drop a bit from up high you can spray an area greater than possible with HE rockets and at least down and wound 10+ enemies.
