Battle for Berlin Reinforcements: Level 24-26

Welcome to the final devblog of the series where we will introduce you to the new upcoming content of the “Battle for Berlin” campaign. Everything will become available in an upcoming major update.

24TH LEVEL

New semi-automatic snipers are arriving soon in the “Battle for Berlin” campaign! You can give these rifles to the sniper class in the “Soldiers” tab by clicking on the appropriate squad, a specific soldier, and then on the weapon slot itself.

USSR | SVT-40

A sniper version of the SVT-40 semi-automatic rifle - complete with a 3,5x scope and 10 round magazine. A very effective weapon at medium range, the fast fire rate will allow you to take follow-up shots easily and give you the potential to take out multiple soldiers without reloading.

Germany | Gewehr 43

The Semi-automatic Gewehr 43 with a 4x scope. The rifle features predictable recoil, fast reloading and is overall a strong competitor to its Soviet counterpart. As these rifles can be fired so rapidly, it might be a good idea to equip your sniper with ammo pouches to keep them in the fight longer.

25TH LEVEL

Aircraft at this rank don’t carry a bomb load but their offensive weaponry is able to easily shoot down enemy aircraft with only a few hits. Even armored vehicles are vulnerable to this level of firepower, making these agile fighters fairly versatile.

USSR | (269TH FIGHTER AVIATION DIVISION) 287TH FIGHTER AVIATION REGIMENT

Fighter-pilots”. This squad can have 1 fighter-pilot.

Yak-9T

This compact fighter does not stand out for its maximum speed, but just like the Yak-3 it’s very maneuverable at low altitudes. But the standout feature here is easily the firepower, as the 9T variant comes equipped with the 37mm NS-37 cannon.

Each shell fired from this cannon weighs 700 grams and is able to tear apart enemy aircraft and rip through the top of armored vehicles. The only limiting factor here is the ammunition capacity, which is limited to only 30 rounds - however, the 9T does still have a 12.7mm machine gun for backup.

GERMANY | (JAGDGESCHWADER 301) I./JG301

Fighter-pilots”. This squad can have 1 fighter-pilot.

Bf 109 G-10

German aircraft have many advantages: high speed, thrust-to-weight ratio, and armament. Another important advantage is the possibility to install not only bombs under the wings, but also additional offensive weaponry. Thus the Bf 109 G-10 enters your hangar with additional 30mm Mk108 cannons in underwing pods. At the same time the “original” MG 151 (20-mm) cannons and two 13-mm MG 131 machine guns are included with it! Planes, infantry, and even armored vehicles - pick your target of choice.

Speaking of which, the Germans will soon have a similar aircraft available for Enlisted Gold - a premium squad with an experience bonus (Jagdgeschwader 4) III./JG 4, equipped with a Bf 109 G-14 fighter with exactly the same cannons.

26TH LEVEL

At this level you will have access to some of the most powerful weapons for combat in the ruins of Berlin. The best submachine guns of both sides will soon be in the hands of your stormtroopers. You can equip weapons to a soldier in the “Soldiers” tab by clicking on the desired squad, its individual soldier, and then on the weapon slot.

USSR | PPSh-41

As one of the iconic Soviet symbols of war, the PPSh-41 is a practical submachine gun with a 71-round drum magazine and an astonishing rate of fire. It reaches 1000 shots per minute, which exceeds that of many machine-gun models! An excellent weapon for taking out enemy points and for aggressive close-range combat.

Germany | Beretta M38 (40 rounds)

An Italian submachine gun in service with the German forces. The Model 38 uses a powerful 9mm cartridge and outperforms Soviet submachine guns in terms of damage. The extended magazine greatly increases your firepower potential and allows you to fight groups of enemy soldiers easily. Due to the relatively high damage and controllable recoil, this weapon can even be deadly at medium ranges.

Unintentional mistake I believe? There were no 13mm on the wings of 109, ever.

Any word on when it will become available for everyone?
It seems wierd to have whole major update concentrated around Berlin if you are going to keep it locked for those who paid.

Yes the SVT-40 and PPSH. Now we just need SVT-40 for Infantry.

But yeah the German Beretta M38 is just weird they adding this again. I guess STG44 will come later when Soviet Infantry unlocks SVT-40?

For the Planes please specific what payload they have. Cannons don’t matter since Anti-Air is so weak and planes health is too high atm

They wrote that there will be no bombs for them. They are purely for fighting other planes.

I would stay in Normandie since the only weapon that I want to try in Berlin would appear in the almost same late period in Normandie. So what’s the point of grinding so much just to get something identical? Italian gun in Berlin 1945? wtf?

Oh damn, yeah no bombs is really bad imo. Fighters isn’t worth to bring as the game is favoured towards anti infantry. Unless they buff antiair and nerf the Planes Health. It takes too long to kill a Plane most of the time its just better to target infantry

The italian gun is a weird choice i agree

Personally, I will switch from my NKVD mutants of 29 level 5 stars to the Berlin operation, since it is obvious that the main online after the opening will be there, which means faster registration, and fewer bots-players.

You really should mention what ammo big caliber (20mm plus) Cannons get.

I want to know what ammo the 37mm get on the yak…

Looks great, I’m excited for both of the SMGs!

I don’t understand this part, can you elaborate?

Aaah, ppsh with drum mag at last! I’m surprised thought, I was certain they’d add the stg or some prototype as a counter. No matter. For the soviet sniper thought, didn’t we already have a semi for sniper II? I wonder what difference it will make

No appealing to me at all.
Scoped SVT/G43
Fighter plane squads that dosent have bombs. BTW, this is Berlin, not the plain open field in Moscow. Planes already useless than other campaigns.
PPSh? At so high levels? I can imagine PPSh is sold more expensive than PPD like a joke.

If the game still use current campaign level and unlock system. I can see in the future this game will fail or get extreme criticise because of this! Also, lots of players will lose their interest because of costing lots of time/money but get the same things!

Thank you so much and forgive us for this mistake.

They really need to up the XP for shooting down air planes.

And we are not happy about it. We are looking at ways to improve efficiency and the meaning of their use. For example, change the rendering of targets, fog on the map.

So rest assured that the guns will be useful in the future.

No problem, always here to help.

Also, I got little question.

Will we get any tech tree content for the Moscow and Normandy campaign this update?
