Tech tree mgs at low BR are very underwhelming, best imo is ZB 26
I’ve never seen an MG 30 in my life
I haven’t seen an IAR since the beginning of the merge, and the Allies planes are still quite the competitors, I have to use my 20mm if I have any hope and even then some planes seem invincible

someone already said it, but stat cards are wrong because guns have a few hidden stats like dispersion, moving dispersion and recoil multiplier which is why some guns have completely different handling.

For example, the StG 44 and Breda 30 has the same 33 vertical recoil in the stat card and even with higher ROF the StG has less recoil, why? Breda has 0.9 recoil multiplier while the StG has 0.3 which means the real recoil of the Breda is 30 and the StG 10.

BARs have a much better ADS speed and much less dispersion penalty on the move and when hipfiring. So yes, BARs are much better for CQB than MG13, you can use them to fire on the move effectively, they are much more reactive weapons, while MG13 is pretty much ineffective if the shooter is not stationary. Enlisted is a game that rewards run and gun playstyle rather than sitting and camping, this is why the quality of the M1918 makes it a better weapon than any other BR2 LMG

I would settle for just the 1918 or moving the monitor squad down the A1 can actually compete at rank 3 if your preference is an Automatic rifle over the A2 which is the point where BAR functions less like a rifle with Full auto and more like a pseudo LMG having variable fire rate over select fire.

I disagree here I easily body IARs and 109s they are pretty crap planes at least the modified ones you get in early game but vehicles are irrelevant to this discussion.

The only BAR I have ever called to be moved to level 2 is the base 1918 as it is the worst of the BAR’s offered, and has the most recoil of the family. I would be fine with a one unit premium BAR level 2 squad, since it is only a stepping stone BAR at level 3 anyway. Once you get the BARA1 and then the A2 your never going to touch that base model again. I would love to see it tech tree level 2, but I don’t ever see the DEV’s doing that, so premium squad would be the only way it would possible ever be offered.
