well that is why snipers are a must on this map. this is first time i use them often out of all campaigns that i have played.
Welcome to asymetrical battles.
I will just paste it here:
I highly advise to stop playing Axis in Pacific till it will be fixed…unless you are masochist.
Yep I got that gold order weapon and was a waste. Just went right back to type 99. Atleast I know it’s reliable and can hit people.
That video is a joke, there are two AA guns killing loads of people throughout, although that is not seen as a problem in pacific? Ok let’s all just focus on matchmaking issues, I get top 1-5 in my team and win on both sides, it is tactics not matchmaking, most pacific servers are full 10v10 when I play.
In my opinion, the overall problem is the player base. I don’t have too much of my problem myself, I can do decent levels of kills, and sure I die quite a bit but that’s to be expected. The number one problem I see is the lack of aggression and willingness to hold caps and defense positions for most players on the Axis side. I would be trying to hold a defense position, get killed, and by the time I get back to the cap it’s already contested and impossible to take back because the entire team is sitting back either sniping, dying, or being worthless. I’m not sure what the cause of this is, but it sure doesn’t feel balanced.
No it’s not, overall difference in terms of equipment and vehicles quality is HUGE!
Guy did it on purpose to show also another problem with AA spam and he mentioned it during video…
DUDE i’m almost allways 1 on Japanese side, the player dispersion is huge, it’s used to be thin line but right now it’s like 3 to 1, and most allied top 3 are guys with maxoud out campaign.
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TACTICS when you are playing Rzhevsk Meat Grinder Simulation, I used to win every single game as Japan but right now it’s impossible.
Is it that hard for you guys to understand?
The problem is siginifcant it lies in playerbase, tendency and also equipment quality and the last problem shifted the side.
I played 3 games as Allies and it was total stomp, i also played on Eastern Europe to make it harder for me, it was still stomp. I was matched with guys with maxed campaign in my team and I WAS still 2nd place on leaderboards.
I am one of those who had the 5% win rate as Italy when that was released. Remember playing for 3 days to get a mission of 1 win completed.
Now in Japan its the same thing all over again. I actually did get some good wins in the beginning of the release, but now it is just a question of how fast the US will win it feels like. I won’t go down into comparing gear for gear as I don’t have the full view of all that, but just compare the different campaign levels and you realize it gets even worse in gear balance for every level about in favor of the US. Sure I am used to gear being in RUS → Allied → Axis order in this game, but now it is getting to a point its not fun to play this uphill battle.
I even started doing some games as US as I need to complete my missions somehow.
Main issues:
- Player balance, had multiple games with 2 - 3 players vs almost or full US teams.
- Gear balance, just have a look at the weapons provided, have a look on the tanks, planes (guns specifically) and you quickly realize this campaign is nothing more than a selling point for allied players or trying to boost the US based players.
Just my 2 öre.
Yes and this grim reality.
State of Pacific Campaign is Tunisia but multiplied by 10.
I knew from the start that Allied equipment and vehicles will be supperior in a long run but I expected more people to play Japan becouse it was new faction added.
And at the start most people played Japan in 3 or 4 days then it started shifting to Allied side.
Right now it’s unplayable.
