They need to make build time much, much longer.

It’s fine to do so now, too: planes are now struggling a bit more, so theres less need for quick AA builds.

How could anyone survive such a shell? It literally tore limbs off.

I doubt nerfing dmg is the way to go. I maintain a long build time (and shorter sandbags lmgs one) is the best course of action.

(Plus, we want AA to keep doing high damage to flying mosquitos…)

My only real gripe with Pacific is the SPAAs and AA.
The sight lines and map designs allow for an unprecedented level of farming. I can say with some confidence that 50% of my deaths are from those two things over anything else.
Unlike other campaigns where I can flank past, use cover , build sneaky rally, the AA and where objectives are (Guvutu) can make this a challenging campaign. I still push through but it requires a lot of squad sacrifice. It has gotten better now that the type 5 is unlocked and I’ve learned how to use it. Smoke works well enough too, but I won’t sacrifice every trooper with smoke when I also need to assault the point.

There might be some tangible advantages in US gear. The BAR is a definitive advantage over the Type 11 but not so much that it can’t be overcome.

Bolts I think still rule Supreme, though I’ve got an appreciation for the Otsu for a frantic close range 5rd spam when I come across a tommy/bar user.

Should be interesting when I flip the switch and play Allies, see how much of a difference it is. I’ll have a better idea and opinion then.

Type 100 smg early. That did good work before tompsons arriaval

And maps were good for defence, but then usa unlocked air support and flamethrowers. Halftrucks were big problem alone, now firepower is even greater in combain…

The problem getting even worse when you get into combined Tanks + Attacker and Buffalo + Browning and Grenade Launcher Assault Squad, then you can beat records how fast you can make big yellow japanese pulp in under 5 minutes time.

As far i remember player stupidity cant be helped, dev show us in the pacific can balance equipment very well, but they cant make a patch for give brain

What i have to say, i lost a battle as us because my temmate instead of granade the trench they go one by one to the point only for be killed, and those one was mostly pacific pack owner wo already have the owen mk1 so lv15+

Even if Americans have better this and better that it still can’t make Japanese to lose the most of matches in less than 10 minutes. Playerbase distribution is the main problem. Most of players, especially with high ranks, prefer to play as Americans. And there is no way how to fix it. They wanna play as Allies, they play as Allies, it’s just that simple. MM also broken but how could it not if there aren’t a fair amount of players to match?

I disagree, after the SA rebuff, the M1 carbine still acts pretty much as an assault rifle to some players. The amount of times I see people enter a room hammering the firebutton as quickly as humanly possible, hosing down the room infuriates me.
It is a poor mans SMG and despite all the “No DoNt NeRf My 9mM bAbY” USA lovers, it’s still one of the most annoying Semi auto rifles going. The Hei and Otsu rifles just don’t even come close to comparing.

Agree, I find that all the Japanese LMGs are just attrocious. They all seem to be mysteriously inaccurate, but what on earth were they thinking putting the Type 11 up against a BAR? They don’t even come close to comparitable.

I have a strong dislike of the Jap SMGs, they feel… tragic. The Type 100 (early) is about the best one I think, but even the premium Type 1 isn’t that great. I honestly find that just hipfiring the smgs is more accurate too.

I think it’s kinda flopped.

There are some good features, don’t get me wrong, but the campaign has too many issues and imbalances

Under 5 minutes loss again, i joined the game with almost 2 points taken at start.

I’d love to see actual stats from DF to know player distribution.
Right now I am almost always in 10v10 matches. The players seem of mostly equal value, with some outlying matches where I’m up against a 2v1 in terms of humans.

The only ask I have for this game right now is for them to have a base MM that makes sure each side has equal number of real players, and backfills those that leave with new ones , with some type of bonus for joining late.

That small change would fix some of what ails the game.

The rest comes with tweaks, and some additions and adjustments made to the Japanese and American side.

Making the 10rd Hei was a mistake of a gold order.
It would have been better served as a camapign weapon.

key to defending as japanese is to constantly charge into enemy… dont let allies build rally points close to cap point. maps are just too open to defend if you stay on cap… well that or build loads of AA and spam enemy…

Yeah I really think that’s it. There are too many spots where you can camp in the back of your spawn with them.

As I’ve always said with AT weapons, it’s hard to compare guns that shoot at different targets.
Type 97 has better stats but the Boys is shooting at easier targets.
