most tanks actually went in with more HE rounds than with AP rounds. They were ment to support infantry first, fight tanks later (not that they would not attack tanks, their priority was simply infantry support). The 37mm HE round would still have similar power to a small grenade, definitely capable of oneshotting 2-3 closely packed soldiers. Furthermore, the pz3 comes with 2 (3 if they made the hull MG work) MGs rather than 1, so it fires twice as many bullets towards infantry.
I know that most tanks, like the Sherman for example, had more HE than AP. The early war Panzer 3 was not a standard, mid to late war tank, the early war german tank strategy was for the Panzer 3 to be a dedicated Anti-Vehicle tank, relying on its machine guns to fight infantry, while the main infantry support vehicles were the panzer IV and the short barreled StuG and StuH III.
" It was intended as the main tank of the German Panzer divisions, capable of engaging and destroying opposing tank forces, and was to be paired with the Panzer IV, which was to fulfill the second use: dealing with anti-tank guns and infantry strong points, such as machine-gun nests, firing high-explosive shells at such soft targets. Such supportive tanks designed to operate with friendly infantry against the enemy generally were heavier and carried more armour.
The direct infantry-support role was to be provided by the turret-less Sturmgeschütz assault gun, which mounted a short-barrelled gun on a Panzer III chassis."

The wiki got it from this source: Tucker-Jones, Anthony (2017). Panzer III: Hitler’s Beast of Burden . Pen and Sword.
I have heard of some people speaking about a 37mm HE round for the Germans, but when you look up the 3.7cm kwk you cant even find info on the HE round. In war thunder i don’t even think it has an HE round (I could be wrong as i haven’t played low tier Germany in a while i just checked wt wiki for this).
Edit: Someone has shown me a primary source document about kwk 37mm HE rounds, its got a pretty weak explosive but it was used.
it has 2 diffrent HE shells, one with low filler (the one we got now) and one with like same filler as the 45mm HE round.
Hopefully we do get one with similar performance to the 45mm HE round, Ive been using the BA-11 alot this weekend and it feels pretty good.
Ptrd was used more than ptrs in Moscow. They could completely remove ptrs and re-introduce it in stalingrad
The germans do have the granatbuchse, which is basically a panzerbuchse but it fires an oversized blank round to propell HEAT grenades instead of a tiny 8mm black tip round.
I think the PTRD and PzB38 should be the starter AT rifles, and the G.B and PTRS the successors
it is a mine opinion or after the update the BA is ever more difficult to kill ?
No, they are definitely easier to kill than they were before, for one if you have an MG or any other automatic weapon, you can pop the tires and force the crew to either hop out and repair or fight until they get an explosion pack they cant dodge. That is something that only the BA-11 has to worry about now.
Its still tougher than every other tank from the front, but when i play it i find more people are figuring out how to kill me in 2-4 shots, even from the front.
did they disable one of the MGs? My tanks only have one now
