Compared to BR4 semi autos with very quick reloads - a 15 rounder AVT with clip reload would actually sound very fair in my mind, not to mention that Soviets need a more “diverse” tech tree.

Just to clarify:
AVT and SVT both could be reloaded with standard mosin stripper clips - which means AVT 40 would have even slower reload speed than G41 because it would reload 3 times 5 round clips - but it would be the first SLR in BR4.
Even if you doubled the reload that would not work the svt 40 is sf full and semi auto all br4 rifles are semi auto so no

No thanks. It would be still superior to AKT in so many ways.
Even with longer reload, AVT wouldn’t be on par with BR4 weapons.

Unless it was by the bullet it would not work
You have full auto and a mag 50% larger, even stripper clips would be too fast if fed as fast as the g41 how long does it take for a g41 to load each clip under a second
Full auto with MG like reload time…
Guys, full auto with a small mag AND terrible reload speed is still too much for you?

Its not like I am for MKB in BR4 aswell.
Even talked about M2 Carbine going to BR4 in some slightly nerfed state - and 10 rounder FG42 in BR4 is also something I have suggested multiple times in the past.
Now thinking about it, scoped FG42-1 going to BR4 sounds cool - I guess only to me, judging by your guys attitude.
Well or carrying a second AVT - this is already possible for other guns and hardly a fair balance argument.

BR4 should not have a fully automatic rifle.The only exception currently is AKT, which is completely P2W.

Not really.
It is completely bad. Far worse than AVT with long reload would be.
The only reason left carrying a 15 round AVT is using it as secondary weapon (for radioman for example) since they don’t share mags.

Oh okay, so what about 15 round AVT having extra spare ammo compared to the 20 rounder version - there are quite alot of players here that would appreciate having good amounts of ammo, maybe that way you dont need to bring ammo pouches.

The best possible solution would be to make 15 mag a legacy.
But somewhat that’s extremely unpopular idea.
So is AVT 15 now obsolete because of AVT20, or is it still a perfectly valid weapon? Can you please decide for once?
When I said it isn’t obsolete to AVT 20? I am of that opinion since the very first moment. It’s obvious that AVT 15 lost any meaning for it existence and shouldn’t be available in tech tree.
I said that AVT 15 would superior to AKT, not AVT 20.
