Are you really want [disposable bomber] continue?

In Invasion mod, some player who at defender group just:

pick an airplane
throw bomb
kill a dozen players, wipe out the hole point
hit ground
pick another airplane
continue this circle

I mean……really?

I dunno how many threads we need to make for the devs to change something but I agree with you.

Because in this day and age we celebrate low IQ and not giving two shits about people around you. Get with the times, grandpa, this is our new reality.

I’ve noticed this more and more. Some players can’t fly and crash. But more and more do what you describe.

On Moscow yesterday I had a guy bombing our team. So I spawned IL2 and shot him down, he spawned next plane and tried to shoot me down. He failed and got killed by me again. After that he reverted to suicide drop/next airplane strategy.

come on,dude,You can’t ask all players to be like professional players. I often use what you call “disposable planes”. This game is still a bit hard-core. I don’t know how to drop bombs correctly, especially when there are AA and fighters on the opposite side. I often cannot return to the supply point. Disposable planes are probably the best way we can come up with bombing.

Make bombs dissapear probably if they haven’t exploded before the pilot dies.

I can actually nosedive, place my armaments accurately, go back into the air, rearm and come for more passes unless something shoots me down.

By the way, I don’t think you’ll be satisfied until planes are basically banned from standard gameplay but planes work like tanks now… If I shoot the engine instead of the rear hull the engine blows up and instakills the plane’s pilot much faster…

stop crying please.

I realize War Thunder was too hard for you so you came here for your bomber fantasy but nobody likes it.

Ability to not suicide = professionalism? Ok, dude.

And practice mode is for pussies, right?

No, it’s the worst way. What you are essentially doing is going: “I am not going to try and learn or improve. I am shit at the game, and this is now your problem, not mine.”

You do know its a game ,right? If playing a game requires so much time and energy, give me a reason not to work overtime to make money.

I admit I sometimes use CAS as much as infantry, also because I’m trying to max out all my squads.

And despite years of experience in War Thunder, I also happen to ACCIDENTALLY crash into the ground quite a lot, due to a serie of factors:

  • Rendering distance forces me to come in really close in order to spot targets, or else I need to blind fire/drop.

  • Despite the shared 3D models, planes feels VERY different than in War Thunder. Be it the flight model or the different joystick sensitivity setup (yes, I use a joystick), the same plane flies differently in the two games.

  • Last but not least, joystick controls setup in Enlisted is a CLUSTERF**ED MESS, as most people will testify. Whatever you try, even if you erase every binding other than the ones you want to use, apparently some controls keep being overridden by some freakin’ gamepad axis, even without any gamepad plugged in. As a result, despite more than 100 hrs in, I still haven’t found a way to manage my throttle, that’s always stuck at full power no matter what. As you can imagine, this tends to make quite harder for me to come out of a diving attack alive.

Lol … so its better to be ignorant and use this trash mehanic than to learn?

Each game has rules and updates, and this mehanic is certanly not working as intended.

At least this kind of trash mehanic is very effective for me now, I may learn, when I have a vacation

But not for everyone else on the receiving end. I will gladly help you, if you wish. Or any other WT realistic battles guide on youtube.

Thank you for your kindness, I will go back to watch the instructional video on youtube tonight

It will not take you long to grasp ground attacking basic.

But for dogfight tactics, learning never ends.

I will probably best out 99 percent of enemy pilots, depending on the plane and situation. But you will always find some Erich Hartman and say wau, every honor to you Sir.

I like your way of thinking, god save the poor soul who will try and play chess with you.
“I don’t know the rules, so I will just throw my Queen at you, and if I hit you on the nose, I won. No, I don’t have time to learn, I invented my own rules already, they work for me, I win every time. No, I don’t give a shit that this is now how you’re supposed to play. It’s effective for me. I win. No, I don’t care you don’t find it fun. It’s fun for me, that’s all I care about.”

I agree that people doing 1 bombing run then crashing is bad. But is there a solution? What are the devs supposed to do?

Maybe you could have to do something to prove you can fly to re-arm? Flying though some kind of airial checkpoints or having to take off from a runway instead of appearing in the air (with spawn protection maybe).

It’s okay to say there’s a problem, but try and come with a potential solution too.

If I want, I could shoot every attacker down.
But you know what? Even I shoot them down, they could still drop bomb before crash.
Stiffness of Airplane in Enlisted are far more than WT.
You need to get very very close, shoot one hundred 12.7, then you can finally shoot attacker down.
But attacker already wipe out your teammate.

Easy, negative exp if you crash with no damage taken in one minute after spawning. No amount of kills should be able to compensate this negative exp. One plane and pilot is worth more than one bombing run. And its easy to program, two IF-s.

And new players will see, oh I get negative exp for unsporty behaviour and should really learn before suicide bombing in actual game.
