At least IS-2 once pens Tiger it always murder it in a single hit, while PZ4H can only guarantee destruction against pixels on it’s turret cheeks as hull is too bouncy and most of the time it’s just a fuel hit which means KV-1 will retaliate and kill you in a single hit against any part of your non existent armor. KV-1 at BR4 would be useless i can agree with you, Germany should get something with better armor but weaker turret than of Panther at BR3 instead.
Bring them all into the garbage bin and go play BR3/5 instead. BR2 Germany = bot and newbie land
The Stu G with tracks is actually a very suitable tank to deal with KV-1. It does not have a turret, but can easily destroy KV-1.However, KV-1 requires careful targeting of areas without tracks, which is actually fair, but obviously, it requires you to spend money.
Once again, it should be reiterated that the 75mm cannon can penetrate most of the KV-1 area, but there are some fragmented areas that cannot be penetrated.
Additionally, having tanks similar to Panther on the BR3 is completely ridiculous.
Stug is not as versatile as KV-1 that is great at fighting German tanks, destroying infantry and also surviving demo packs and tnts (only placed frontally is a guaranteed kill). Dicker max can easily destroy KV-1 but after tank kill you are left with a worthless vehicle that has no mg, no turret and he shells that take ages to reload.
And that’s the big problem smart KV-1 player will always angle it’s tank and obstacles all around Stalingrad/Moscow/Rzhev will make KV-1 even harder to hit you only have one chance to destroy KV-1 if you fail first time you will die against your 50mm turret
read again what i just said, i don’t want panthers at BR3 i want something with stronger armor almost like Panther but also with much weaker turret/cannon L48 should be enough if your turret armor could have 80-100mm of steel just like KV-1 and pen being the same that way both of tanks should be forced to aim for weak spots and not just KV-1 lolpening PZ4H.
at this point we may as well just have a capture KV-1 and possibly a BT 42 and since the allies in Soviet have our anti tank weapons it shouldn’t be a problem.

But anyway, feel free to make a request about it to change the BR. I personally don’t see it as such a pervasive issue as TT Pz3N in every match and knowing how butthurt axis mains get about any BR downgrade, I also don’t want to provoke those sensitive feelings in this case.
I guess you could make the argument if you would be willing to ignore the fact that Pz3N and M have like, completely different guns and are like… different tanks.
Good luck with it when you will be tickling it while he will murder you with it’s HE shells + MG. Most of your shots will be hitting countless modules just like Heat shells. It’s one of the most durable tanks at BR2 when facing it frontally.
And why would i want to drive so close up to you? I will be camping in a greyzone and murdering your team over and over and over again just like your most hated nemesis PZ3N. You expect for Panzers to also rush at you like some knight with a lace? Don’t make me laugh this is not a medieval time this is ww2 mate. And when i die with M8 i will be spawning another one in 10 secs. So prepare for your butt to get blasted again.
And whos going to spawn a fighter without bombs? Only option is IAR but by shooting them down you will only give them another free respawn with fresh dose of rockets and bombs
But you are not briging those tools to BR1 you will get destroyed as BR1 player only Semovente could take it out
I guess you intentionally ignore the point of how (Russian) newbies can flank with ATRs but not frontal engage tanks with tanks and AT cannons.

Yes. It still has enough firepower to kill infantry but the added bonus of being invulnerable against Russian newbies because they can only (effectively) kill tanks by flanking with ATRs.

Also funny that you mention BR downgrade considering you ignored the point that Soviets (and Japanese) are the sole faction that faced no higher BR rating, at least as far as I am concerned.
Also, balance here occurs based on stats, not on stupid deployment numbers, especially since these numbers are affected by AI squads.
Doesnt change much as it still has decent anti infantry capabilities.

It can, just barely, if Panzer IV angles its frontplate or if KV shoots at longer ranges it will bounce - but up close KV1 will one hit kill 80mm of armor.
