APCs are unbalanced and gamebreaking

Why are you allowed to park them so close to an objective and still be able to spawn on them?? It gives defenders a HUGE advantage since they can literally spawn on top of the objective. How are attacker supposed to compete with that? Especially Germany with its fully armored APCs benefit immensely from this since this allows them to spawn in the middle of the battlefield safely.

APC needs the same restrictions as regular rally points. An APC in the middle of a the battlefield should not be possible to spawn in. The range for “too close to capture points” is laughably short and needs to be the same as regular rally points. The cooldown between spawns does nothing to balance this since there are no limit on how many APCs a team can have active at the same time, the defender can just stack their side of the objective completely neglecting the cooldown.

APCs have been out of half a year and yet nothing have been done to balance them, on the contrary more of them have been introduced in events and premium squads. The idea of APCs are not bad in itself and its painfully easy to make them balanced but like most of the problems in this game the devs never seem to get around to fixing them.

I mean, doesn’t it warn you when you move too close to an objective?

Seems to me that they are actually bugged or what do you think?

Unless I did something wrong, APC has a serious design flaw which I hate. Only Drivers can drive it. So if you die, you cannot move it until cycle ends. And iirc you cant spawn with the APC squad into the APC again. So this thing is not “recycable”.

Do the same I guess.

Enlisted soldiers can literally operate the planes on the airfield but they cannot drive a truck

The only gamebreaking thing about APCs is that they’re not making any noise, spawning among enemies is sooo common, they just walk around it not realizing its enemy APC.

idk engine running? and the smoke from the exhaust like vechicles do… seems fair enough.

It’s 50m, you can build a rally near 99% of capture points within 50m.

It does. If you’re 49m away from a cap zone, it says ppl won’t be able to spawn in your vehicle.

I see no issue here. Also, it’s way more visible than a regular rally point…

yea and if you somehow dont see a big white vehicle in the middle of a field (did this yesterday and no one see it which is weird tbh) then it kinda your own eye problem?

Depends a lot on the design of the cp itself.

That, and let’s not forget most apcs, premium ones at least…

Cannot have different camouflage.

Tried using my canon halftrack on Tunisia yesterday. A big bright grey mass on a tan field. I didn’t reach my destination and I exploded :sweat_smile:

The only issue is you can’t spawn without the truck, just with the squad, like paratrooper do with the plane

Ah, true! I never realized this…

I always use my apc squad as a shock squad. Park apc in good hidden cover, drop a med box near it for ppl who spawn (+1 health kit saves lives! I do my part!) Then charge.

Then, if my vehicle is still here, I spawn with riflemen, or some other squad with more soldiers in it :thinking:

It is, but I swear I have seen functional spawn trucks being as close as 10 meters next to the point.

They are bugged, and allow you to spawn right into the capture point - thats what OP is complaining about

That was when the minimal distance to capture points was 30m, this has been fixed since the minor update

they already nerfed them,you must stay away at least 50 m FAR from point,and yet Japs and Sovs dont have a proper event one,so take it easy fwend

30m huh? Doesn’t seem like it fits my memories.

10 meters was definitely a thing.
