AP Mine Nerf Revert

Anti Personal mines aren’t OP, actually they are just spamable only, so I bring ideas for make it be reverted or at least more option:

Option 1: Make AP mines be only usable for snipers, engies or AT (who would be able to use only AT mines and Lunge Mine in case of japan)

Option 2: if they dont revert it, at least give us more options because all nations have more mines and similar toys

Option 3: add booby traps who work inside and outside and force mines be only outside

Option 4: add a perk for soldiers or a dedvice for detect mines and a system for disarm them and if you do you get for example 15 points who says: mine disarmed

Option 5: Add more grenades for all nations

Option 6: Make an animatiom or similar for make mines take a little to place

Literally the concept of booby traps can never work. Or what’s the booby trap supposed to look like, 100 golds?

They never were OP, they were just annoying toxic.
They never contributed to a better gaming experience.

But I agree that nerfing them to oblivion was a complete misjudgment.

Devs should have just removed them from the game completely and compensated the players.

I disagree - Honestly believe they had the power to stop an entire advance, while the effort for placing them was non existing. Thats OP in my book.

That being said, the way they were nerfed is kinda dumb, they now dont really kill targets anymore, unless you place multiple, so instead what should have been done is a placement timer of 3 seconds per mine, while also restricting AP mines to pioneers and snipers.

Everything can be spammed in this game like smoke grenades or the Panzer III B, but weirdly enough we don’t see that many smoke grenades or Panzer III Bs.

Devs don’t limit stuff even if it would make sense.

Dont know what would be fixed here.

Not applicable in the game, especially since 90% are bots.

Nice gimmick and all, but still doesn’t fix the issue that AI can’t detect, let alone destroy them, and that disarming is still more time-consuming than placing them.

Same as mines, not useful.

In theory a good idea, unfortunately I dont think there should be even slightest reason to play snipers.

How about random diseases that kills people randomly ?

Unless it costs 1 point its quite pointless.

If you actually had to dig a hole with shovel and actually go thru some effort then it would be fine.

add a new perk: Heart Attack that cost 19 vitality

it causes you to die instantly

Rallies should simply count as an enemy - as soon as the mine is ready to blow, it should destroy said rally.

Heart attacks aren’t instantly lethal tho.

Well… even being shot isn’t necessarily, but thats not the point.

The Germans should be given their Egg Hand grenade and make it their Impact grenade.

  • Blue – 4.5 second (standard issue)
  • Yellow – 7.5 seconds (used on the Hafthohlladung 3 – magnetic shaped charge)

I agree with option 1, It’s downright weird that all classes can carry an AP mine, same with TNT.

the smart nerf would have been reducing their max amount per squad to 2 AP mines and any number of AT mines. this way everyone would think twice where to put the AP ones and AT mines are easy to see and blow up, so they dont need any limitation.

also countless tricks with AT mines are possible, even after nonsensical nerfs like making it impossible to combine both types, so these ones are the one left toy for creative game play.

Some may disagree, but I think ap mines should go off the second you place them on an enemy rally, Killing yourself and destroying the rally. And I think they should implement this without saying a word so that people complain about it or ask questions like “anyone else unable to place ap mines on enemy rallies?” etc, that would be funny.

Yes, the worst part about AP mines is that they were annoying and toxic, taking away the fun of the match. The devs made the right choice.
