Absolutely clear. So why do all the other games have anti-desertion protection and players are penalized for doing it?
Unbelievable naivety. Or maybe just purposeful hypocrisy.
I haven’t suggested anything else than what is standard in other games.
I would like to add that this game’s server selector is more of a server suggester since it can and will put you into a server where you don’t have selected
I will say that the vast majority of people who desert is because
I do not agree with any of those whatsoever. I would never quit for any of those reasons. I like all maps, I play to the bitter end even if we’re losing, I shrug off getting sniped, one shotted, mortared, rocket, bombed, everything.
However like with many things I am a little different than the average player. Ok besides sometimes if you have to step away from the game, the only reason I quit is if MY loadout breaks historical immersion when I spawn. I know that this game’s historical fiber isn’t perfect (personally I hope one day BR or whatever is overhauled to be more historical) but for what it is I manage. My policy is usually if it was made in X year, it should only appear where it makes sense. The same goes for prototype stuff.
If I am BR 5 Germany and I have say the Stg 45, I only want to be in Berlin because that’s in 1945 the closest period to when that prototype weapon was made, I do not want to be in 1944 Normandy.
Or if in the near future we get an Iwo Jima map, if I have an entirely British loadout I would quit if I get sent there (because obviously everyone knows it wasn’t Britain storming the island)
Because, ALL other games, have PROPER mm! They have PROPER mode selections features! They pit stacks against stacks! They equalize players vs bot ratios between teams!
Enlisted does none of that.
Enlisted mm is the worst I’ve ever seen.
And instead of implementing those very CORE features first, to truly fix what’s wrong, you ask to lower the fun even more for everyone.
Because ppl, will go with what they know. they will avoid punishments and stack in a single factions. Like the lemmings we both know the playerbase already is. you can deny it, but that’d be bad faith.
In fact it’s already bad faith:
it’s false. nobody likes being a punching bag or an xp farm for sweats. No one.
i’m not even talking about the winner xp bonus here. clearly does not help spreading players evenly.
