I find them fun, and they spice up the game, that gets boring quick - attack, cap, attack, cap.
Tasks give you another thing to do, if you feel like it. And I like how some are derpy, and stupid - like 20 melee kills is funny one. Keep derpy ones too, just for fun. And easy ones are good too.- like fortifications.
I didn’t like the progress system in CBT - got boring quickly, and had no variety - grind, grind, grind.
So my vote is to keep both systems in place. It’s just bronze packs, and at some point, they become useless - too many possible items/soldiers, to ever get what you need. After like level 16-18 you get masses of junk you don’t need.
they could have kept both with the exp one being for silver orders and the battle tasks are for bronze, but battle tasks themselves are staying for the BP
People complained about tasks at the beginning, they fixed it by adding main (simple) tasks and additional tasks, I have not heard much complains since then. People are happy with them except few inconvenient tasks.
Why they are changing it again is beyond me. If exp-orders will be too grindy, there will be even more negativity around the game… can they really afford so much bad press?
The less people stay to play, the more they will squeeze on microtransactions which will lead to even less people staying…
I like the way the battle tasks are now, pretty much getting 3 bronze tasks for every battle gives you a nice progression in the game. Though I agree with an additional battle task, maybe a forth task, which is more difficult and with more variety which gives a silver order for the first one completed a day or something
The XP system was far better and actually rewarded good play with more gear and soldiers.
The tasks are alright, but I still prefer the old XP system by far.
The battle tasks are also grind grind grind grind grind. I can teach an orangutan to perform these tasks, that’s how easy they are.
The old system was better, it actually REWARDED good players. Strange I know. Actually REWARDING people who perform well instead of making them feel insulted with the rewards.
How is that a dirty trick? They wanted us to test stuff in the beta, it would make sense it was a bit quicker. Also, we have silver orders as well right now which we never had before. 5k experience per bronze order is fine. If its more than 7k then theres a problem
As for bronze orders? it’s linear and will be linear, no change there. You get them after exact the same number of battle tasks and will get them after exact number of earned xp.
