An appeal to everyone who likes to fly on airplanes in Enlisted

You can have players just cycle planes, but I think this thread was more on the purpose of killing them vs people who run 6 vehicle slots.
I’ve had opponents cycle 3 tanks on me in berlin and it didn’t really work out for them. Same can be said in the Air if you’re a good pilot. Of which, @40946585 is for sure.
I’ve played with him enough to say he is an absolute asset when airborne.

Are you talking about BF109 or Bf 110?
Because 109 is agile but is poor at fighting planes and 110 is plane killer but it’s not agile. So I have no idea which one do you mean.

A little tip: find instructions in YouTube on how to render your videos correctly so that the image does not spoil and how to upload videos to YouTube with good image quality. You need to ensure that you have the “vp09” codec on YouTube. Then your YouTube videos will become even more high-quality and enjoyable to watch. If you are German, then maybe “Schmetterwurm” will tell you how to do it.

I often have such moments when an enemy aircraft can withstand several hits even from a 37mm cannon, although even one hit of such a projectile in most cases should be enough to shoot down an enemy aircraft.

Maybe we have different practices? I’ll give you an example: I can say with 100% certainty that the 12.7 mm Browning aviation machine gun is much more effective than the 13 mm machine gun that is on German aircraft. The same applies to 20 mm guns.

It’s more easy to kill the pilot than to kill a plane with 12.7mm.
Planes are bullet sponge. (Except for very big caliber that can OS)

20mm in warthunder are the thing to go for damage. Not in enlisted.

Ty for the tip <3 but its no need  But yea sometimes i might need to get the perfect pixel format for the thumbnails though that im aware of but im not that picky

Damn it i was about to use that “deuche luftwaffe” clip when im doing the FW montage ^^
But yeah ive also killed them with 50s but not reliable. The 250s even struggle with that and landed them 2 right next to it like you did and 2 on top and did 0 damage ^^

I do not own the movie, you can certainly use the “deutsche Luftwaffe” clip .

Maybe I am just very lucky, out of 100 CAS runs against tanks I would say that 95 times the tank is dead. Especially with 250kg bombs.
The five times it did not get destroyed it was because I was not on target, wrong attack angle, house blocking bombs or some last second maneuvering that messed the drop up.

I do struggle to reliably destroy tanks with the Wfr.Gr. 21 thought!

Yeah i stopped that since they are more effective in killing infantry though. Even if it do pen sometimes you usually just end up killing 2 or maybe 3 crew members if youre rly lucky. Better to use the 37mm in my book  Its possible but why waste them so to speak

Notice that in every example of planes taking damage, they are maneuvering very little and maintaining stable courses, and then you are taking damage in the 188 towards the end, your aircraft is taking very, very little damage relative to the amount of rounds being fired at you while dodging. If anything, this video proves how prevalent desync is, any single burst of cannon or .50 would immediately cripple any of these aircraft but it takes huge, extended bursts on non-evasive enemies to deal damage.

Allied planes have more ammo, but smaller caliber. Still, it is easier to hit the german pilot with so much ammo than with like 200-300 high power ammo.

Like I said - same same for the allies in Normandy - having to unload a couple of thousand .50 rounds into a 109 , get bucketloads of XXX (white crosses) and it flies away so got to reload and do it again…

Shrug - that’s the game they want.

I can live with it - sucks to be you if you can’t.

With this approach devs would have released the game in 1.0 at once instead of making it closed and open beta (even if it’s only on paper).

pls upload an video on this
