This is more problematic in Moscow with AT rifles not as effective as panzerfaust where I can just have an AT soldier run at the part of the grey zone then shoot the Panzer IV or Panther with the panzerfaust hopefully go boom and retreat in Berlin. Sturmpistole is total crap and its annoying to see jumbos camping in grey zones with no ways to kill it other than some lucky Panzer IV shots at the MG port or some other weakspot like the top of the hull like I did one time in Ver-Sur-Mer with the hull roof because the jumbo was on a bad angle.
Why do tanks, which are arguably the strongest squad type, even need a safe zone? I get why infantry needs an area near their default spans to breath, but tanks often spend an entire match camped while farming dozens of kills.
Removing or limiting (maybe with a running timer after spawning) the safe zone for tanks would likely convince more players to not only play infantry, but to play it more strategically. Knowing that your teams armored vehicles are powerful yet now much more vulnerable might convince more infantry to work with and protect their tanks as they advance on or protect the objective.
It’s unclear whether the lack of ground vehicle ammo spots is:
A) An intentional balancing decision.
B) Something that can’t be implemented due to shifting battle lines.
C) A feature of low priority that is planned to be implemented later.
Only the devs know the answer for sure.
Fully agreed. The point shall be placed on the batlefield area and the same point for both teams.

I am on the fence. On one hand I love my tanks and can easily survive all game (seriously people need to learn to cook grenades) and have often ran out of ammo despite being on the front line. But I also appreciate that it forces me to get out and use other squads/let someone else tank.
I think a better option would be letting engineers build a “resupply point” that tanks can drive through to rearm (and make it give the engineers lots of experience which will encourage building it). That way there is still some teamplay and a team that works together can really benefit. I already carry 1 set of tools on all my engineers to help out any friendly tankers so being able to support/coordinate more is always appreciated. And maybe have it so these resupplies cannot be built in the grey zone so at the very least the tanker has to come out of relative safety to rearm.
as I said easy 2000 if not more and all baloons aint even destroyed so wth is goin on? We dont even have the ammo for that less your in plains
A buildable refill point similar to what bf5 had isn’t out of the question.
I just want to refill my vehicles. Specially the ones that lack ammo. For ex the m24 chaffee
Apparently, there’s a lot of balloons that are visible to Allies only.
This may be a kind of balance, in order not to let powerful tanks slaughter an entire game of opponents. (Such as the Panther in Normandy)
who needs a tank when you got 6 rockets and a bomb with no end in sight
Because planes can’t protect infantry like tanks again
I have to disagree that the m10 is useless or poor at at. Initially, I thought the same; but after using it I find it surprisingly effective against German armor. I’ve killed everything from pumas to panthers with satisfying efficiency from the m10.
I found it to be effective in the anti-infantry role as well, provided I can position it properly and keep my distance from infantry.
I’ve run out of ammunition in the mg and main gun multiple times, and would love a reload point even if it requires me to drive a few hundred meters back to get it
I’m glad your experience in it has been better than mine, but I’ma stay on the “m10 was a mistake” hill. I’ll re-evaluate if they give it proper M62 APCBC/HE or fix the post-pen damage for solid AP and give it the M93 HVAP-T.
I’d love to see some more ammunition options, especially on the sherman; so I’m right there with you. I just haven’t had the same experience with the m10, I can almost guarantee that a pen nets multiple crew kills and module damage if not a one-shot tank kill.
I share almost the same output. Also for the m24 chaffee, I just avoid to use it as much coz I know I ill run out of ammo and no one fired at me yet. Even on the frontline.
An option to refill my ammo, even right in the middle of the batlefield will be a welcome one for me.
I think you replied to the wrong person. Idk what I said that you are responding to.
it’s a tank destroyer it need at least to do that good
m10 its meh overall, sadly,. i was expecting way more from it.
it was one of my fav tanks in another fps shooter for years.
hopefully, as the game goes, some changes will be implemented to make said tanks way more viable…
panzer IV/70 its also a strange tank to play with on berlin… anyway…
As I said we need ammo suplies for matches we had a tank that was compltly out except for MG ammo. Mine never dided ill quit a game or ride around till match emds either way
still requesting this tho. having less than 30 rounds of AP in a t34 in berlin when i need more than one per panther , and if i survive long enough , i ill see myself without any AP to fight the next tanker that comes around.
i need an option to refill my ammo in invasion/assault maps.
something like we currently see in conquest.
