In some battles, there can be a very unbalanced number of players at certain times, resulting in a terrible gaming experience. Tunisia is a very typical case, regardless of the time. The outcome of the battles is often evident from the beginning, but sometimes, due to some irrational urge to resist, I actively engage in the fight and still end up with poor XP gains. (I know the other side won’t get good gains either, but for them, it’s just like a easy trip, and still receive the same XP.) causing me to close the game in a bad mood, asking myself whether I’m a masochist, and repeat the process next day.
Main demands:
Give extra xp bonus to players who play on the side that suffers a severe disadvantage in terms of player numbers/levels
Judgment conditions mainly include:
real number of players
number of deserters
player gear level (the gap may shrink after the merge, but who knows)
join the game midway
player scores (only good players on the disadvantaged side will receive compensation)
Also, provide booster cancel options for players in these situation (Already mentioned in this topic)
The best case is that they can have a fair enough matching mechanism without having to consider these compensations
Let’s play the “count the afk snipers” game and guess who is complaining about “grind” and “low xp”
Although I personally do believe playing for disadvantaged faction should be rewarded somehow. (Since there is strong evidence that punishing bad actions vs rewarding good actions gives better results and leads to higher happiness).
Some reduced transferrable XP would be nice, especially if you select all factions and get put on already fully researched. With some bonus to XP and income based on how badly stacked the opposing team was.
I don’t even mind loosing that much, given the match was genuinely fun. Getting farmed by unironically bad players loaded up with max slots and premium squads can get a bit tiring, especially given shoddy map design in some places.
The problem current state of the game is we dont have matchmaking, thats the whole issue, People will face each other no matter which gear or which rank they belong to. All the match i play so far, its so one sided.
From last dev annoucement (Map rework thing) i believe they also have data for match for past few months or even for whole year. But instead, they didnt do anything about this trend, trend continue, number of player decline really fast (Because i meet same guy for 4 matches in row)
Agree, they should give incentive for Low player count faction/campaign. At least 50% is enough, I dont mind get mow by enemy high end gun, but without resistance? no no
