Each Radio Operator squad starts off with the standard 5 bombers at the beginning of each round. If any of these bombers are shot down, they will not be replenished
If one bomber is shot down during a run, the next run will have 4 bombers. If 2 more are shot down, the next run will have 2 bombers. If one is shot down during the next run, the radio operator’s airstrike will remain as a single bomber. If that last bomber is shot down, the player will no longer be able to use the airstrike command.
The number of bombers, full, decreased, or diminished - will remain that way throughout the whole round (radio operator squad airstrike squadron does not replenish upon respawn or switching to another radio operator).

yea but the bombers have INSANE amounts of HP
they just need to work on their air to air damage model
I mag dumped my fighters ammo into a bombers engine block and it didnt even smoke…also shot the shit out of ones cockpit from head on…nothing

they should replenish through time or they would be too weak
you can set them on fire and they will slowly die. AI does not compensate for damage.
AA guns work ok against bomber, can shoot down ~3 bombers in a pass.
just fighter cannons are shite.

so I shot 75mm Heat rounds into a po 2 hover over head. both direct hits and nothing
plane damage models really wrong
AA Guns does wonders to them…
This is a reason I feel that shot down bombers should not return, given their durability.
