Air lead indicator makes the game no skill

Defensive flying is impossible with built in aimbot

boring

It’s very easy to throw off the lead indicator. I don’t recommend using it unless the enemy if flying perfectly straight or has managed to stall themselves.

Its not about you, there are other players out there that are still learning the game. At the end of the day enjoy the indicator and get more kills for your team.
To clarify, the indicator works both from the ground and in the air, I don’t hear ppl complaining about the air lead indicators either.
It’s give and take, I don’t mind being shot down, it just means someone on the other team is paying attention.

Why would the indicator get me more kills?

If you start any scissor maneuver the lead indicator is basically useless.

Btw, you don’t want this smoke. I have bullied multiple Axis/Japan pilots out of lobbies.

Dis you?

You don’t even know what a scissor maneuver is, and if you do and are doing it against an enemy 500+m away you are hopeless.

The further someone away is the less the lead indicator bounces… it’s literally angular velocity and why it’s so easy to snipe people in this game. 100m away = lead indicator flies off the screen when they roll . 500m away = it moves 2cm

That’s not even close to how the lead indicator is actually calculated in game. There are 3 factors for the lead indicator, none of which are angular velocity. Stop pretending to act smart when you’d get the floor wiped with you by any mildly competent pilot. Seems you need the lead indicator more than most players on the forum.

What is this COD?

1V1s in enlisted gotta be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

Thankyou for doubling down on your “know nothing” approach.

So, tell us why does the lead indicator move faster when the enemy is closer? :))))))))

You are the one dodging me though bro.

They called me out so I obliged, what’s the problem officer?

He… just flat out told you the truth, Someone can’t fly, Lead indicator is easy to throw off.

He’s running with this “it doesn’t shift as much at 500m as it does at 100m” approach. He’s completely ignoring how point of view affects physics. Especially momentum equations. A plane entering a turn at a constant speed will have the same angular velocity if you are at 500m or 10m. The indicator, however, is not based on the angular velocity, it’s based on how fast you are, what direction your vehicle is facing and the ballistic trajectory of the guns on the plane engaging you. The game does not at any point check your angular velocity, which is why you need to lead your crosshairs against planes in a turn.

Because of this, small movements when you’re farther away make it so players who rely on the lead indicator whiff a significant number of shots. I’ve dodged Zeros in a P-38 (fairly large plane) because the enemy relied on the lead indicator.

It’s actually much easier to rely on the lead indicator at close range because, aside from slightly leading the target compared to much larger leads at longer ranges, it simply shows you more about the smaller adjustments a good pilot will perform in defensive maneuvering. Like rudder adjustments, rolling etc…

He’s probably just a stupid kid. At least I’d hope so.

Yeah. I think I’ve spent enough time making my point so I’ll let sleeping dogs lie.

When you are clicking on items on your desktop and in Windows generally, do you find it hard? Are you holding the mouse properly so that you can accurately click on the icons? If so, this may be why you are so bad at aiming at a lead indicator.

I have zero issues in enlisted in taking down planes. Let alone tanks and inf.

To me it sounds like your bitching to bitch.
