I do understand your point, but I’m against removing them from the game.
To improve AI, Devs needs to do tests on the live server to have feedbacks and datas.
I’m new to the game so I’m not already frustrated by the AI, but I can understand players being impatient and furious about the devs.

My 2 cents is that people are really bad at controlling their squads. While pathfinding is probably AIs greatest weakness, I am still able to do all sorts of things with my Bots that I never see people even try in game. My gameplay and ability is certainly improved by the presence of AI

If you have your squad in the open it is not exactly fault of the AI but the player for parking them there and not using a building/cover etc. Beeing able to switch to AT before the tank has LOS is valuable and a lot of your problems arent even related to the AI themself but are a general problem of the game.
That goes both ways. Nobody really has the advantage here as the bots from both could be more aggressive and maul each othere equaly.

I absolutely love the Squad system in Enlisted, without it this game would lose its special touch.
Yes it needs a lot of improvements - but simply because it is the core of the game.

This guy says he is new to the game, and I have still experienced these types of errors of AI since Beta. How the hell do some of you think you have the right to write that AI has improved a lot since then? Be realistic; be objective! I agree the squad idea is good, but it needs to be improved. And moderator @gastanofrizzi , can you tell us what 2cent stands for abbreviation? Is this some sort of humiliation tag by moderators to critical thinkers? I am about to be academically triggered by this. : )

Darenius’ point is a fair one.
All you have to do is to face the appropriate ground and press the “X” key to keep the bot that follows you like a little duck in place.
If you continue to be so insulting to those who disagree with you, you have no right to participate in the discussion and no one will take you seriously.
I believe you misunderstand; I do not intend to insult, but rather to make objective points.
@gastanofrizzi It is regrettable that you seek to belittle critical thinkers for their feedback. It is unfortunate that you have become a forum moderator. I will contact Gajin to have that moderation removed from you because you are using your authority for illegitimate purposes. It is not appropriate for anyone to influence with his or her personal ideas or humiliate players on this forum as a moderator.
Here are the game’s shortcomings:
- There is no advanced order system for the squad, and there are not enough orders.
- The aggressive stance of the squad does not work properly when enemy soldiers approach or come into sight. They do not shoot, but instead, they stand idle.
- @panzerscott mentioned before the squad should be combat-aware; they should take cover when progressing into the next ordered area.
- When you move a far distance from your squad, it automatically moves your squad to you, which often leads to them being killed again. This should be fixed. If they are ordered to stand in a specific area, they should not leave that area at all.
I understand and respect that your playing style may not prioritize skilled players or AI, perhaps because you are not skilled at aiming and tactical skills. You may simply want to shoot and sandbag without facing a challenge to fill some ego, but this game may not be suitable for you if devs fixed these issues in the feature.

I like killing bots and players, but first and foremost Enlisted is a squad game A PVPVE if you are not playing it to play squad you are not playing it right, so play solo or remove the other soldiers from your squad, or command them to stay still and you can go out and hunt tanks, Enlisted is also not a RTS,

You joined 8hrs ago, with due respect ya don’t know what you’re talking about. AI used to be way worse in enlisted, both weaker and stronger, both of which people complained about. It’s about as good as it’s ever been. You don’t want it removed, that gamemode was lame & almost abandoned when it existed.
But you also don’t understand how to use it. You’re not supposed to be cowering somewhere trying to keep your squad alive, this is an arcade shooter at the end of the day. They need to provide objective pressure unless you just wanna get carried. This is WW2 pvp mount&blade, if you expect something slow paced and RP’ish then you’ll be disappointed.
