Can we let AI automatically mark when they find the enemy? For balance, it can be less accurate and the interval is long
ADD: visible only in the team, AND change the ai marking colour.
ugh…
no?
i’m not sure anyone would like if AIs start clustering everyone’s visual full of markets left by them.
let alone the fact that others would hipotethically do the same.
ending up with red marks everywhere.
AI mark visible only in the team. And, in order to distinguish, you can change the color display (how about orange?)
i would say yes,
but currently we have issues with non existant opacity changer upon the Ui.
just take as example the red marks, or the Icon of the objectives. if there’s an enemy behind it or gets hidden by the objective icon, no way you are gonna see him. same for markers.
i’d say that should be the priority, for then allow newer markers.
anyway, if there’s an option to disable, it’s an ok for me.
This is really a problem. However, I think it is not difficult for developers to make AI marks translucent or always display behind player marks. You can also use the shortcut key to turn off this function and turn it on when necessary
yeah…
about that:
almost a year.
so… i’m not so sure about that.
but i digress.
That’s your job buddy.
Don’t you think AI is too stupid? Are they with mental retardation?
The same Ai is able to snipe me from 200m and spot me after the first shot (even with supressor).
The AI may be dumb when to comes to CQC distances and survival instincts, but they are pretty damn good at spotting (and sniping) people on remarkable distances and through smoke and leafs. Giving them the ability to mark would make game more cancerous due to their FOV and the spam mentioned by @ErikaKalkbrenner
BUT……The AI marks
AND
Reduce the damn automatic aiming ability, but prefer intelligence
dumb sounds a little bit of underestimate more of a compliment
Probably would work like poormans WH tbh, even at squad level you got 5-9 bots with 360 vision spotting things for you.
At team level it would be just a major cluster fuck, 10 squads with 5-9 members you got very least 50 bots doing the 360 spotting, only “good” thing which itself is rather questionable would be planes capability to snipe with MG’s.
I would like to see something done to either promote/encourage or automatically tag enemies in this game. 99% of the time nobody is tagging.
I was pondering ways. AI Came to mind, but with how ridiculously inconsistent the AI is in this game that could still be an unreliable way to mark targets.
What I had come up with was an automatic targeting system where if someone (player or AI included) hits an enemy with a shot (wound, down, or kill) the game would auto tag that area. At the very least it would give the team an idea from where the enemies are coming from - not really that far out of the “Realism” spectrum as like any soldier would call out where they spotted and started firing upon the enemy.
That also brings up the topic that something desperately needs to be done about the AI. It feels like they’ve gotten stupider, and I don’t know if maybe it’s the Berlin maps, but it feels like trying to tell them where to go has gotten worse/less responsive.
It’s frustrating to play something like Conqueror’s Blade where your AI squad will listen and do what you tell them, and be smart enough to actually engage the enemy with quite satisfactory acknowledgement of your commands, then come back to Enlisted to only tell your squad to go somewhere - which still doesn’t seem to tag properly in the map, then has your squad just at random spots or stuck in the map somewhere, always resulting in them being “too far” and cancelling your order anyway - having them persistently stuck in a situation of trailing you in the map right in the open and getting obliterated.
BUT… I dont want that.
How should that work?
Aside from that people would be aware that there are enemies nearby and would look there. Wont matter much if the ping is 1 or 5 meters away depending on distance. More would be useless or too RNG.
And at the same time they shouldnt be able to mark 100% accurate but just “broad”?
No, bad idea.
