I like the game play and i understand , and am comfortable with the fact that its ptp. However, its to much money for very little rewards. Back to the good ole days with Battlefield?
You don’t have to pay to progress my friend.
Paying just reduces that time to a certain degree.
Just takes time to level up but, as long as one enjoy the gameplay, that time is almost second nature as batles go
Soon you will have a good equiped army, and as a commander your xp will come naturally
Battle pas is pretty cheap really, and as you progress you actually get all the money back
In fact, leveling up takes so much time.
If you play normally in a 20 minute match, your score will be around 2000~3000 points. If you can play really well, you can score about 5000~7000 points, but while you are low level, it is difficult because your weapons and troops are poor.
I think it took roughly 6,000~1,000 scores to level up once until lvl 10. That means you would have to play an average of 20 to 30 matches, which would take about 7~10 hours of your time.
If you are a gamer who only plays on the weekends, imagine putting in a fun weekend to finally move up one level. And the weapons you can use during that time are very limited. Most of the things you think of when you hear WW2 are not available due to level restrictions.
I love this game but the game progression is very painful.
On my experience as f2p completing a 39 level campaign takes about 460 matches, that’s quite a bit and of course I am no beginner but I don’t think it goes beyond 500 to anyone.
Well I don’t think 500 battle cut that unless you never lose a match and never get any other mode but Invasion which is unlikely in this game
My experience in Berlin(My first campaign) takes 700 battles to get 36 levels with average 10k exp per match , but that time(Burning Sky) I lose like 40% of the match due sweaty players in both sid, is is not that easy or consistent either
In $talingrad, things goes crazy, you can max one side by 100 battle or less if you have full access, which no longer available, and god forbit you max it as F2P cuz you really need your sanity back
In Normandy I maxed Axis and almost Ally, Axis before they remove the Quad AA, and Ally after the Quad AA is removed, gonna twll you the timing is good for this one cuz before they remove the Quad AA, farming planes kills was my dedication, after rwmoving the Quad AA, spamming rocket is the way, both gives high scre and exp, which is more consistent
hahaha stop demoting players no point playing as u demote when u stomped by overpowered opponents wtf are u doing
the tanks are made of paper in this game esp jap tanks – yet I’ve seen tanks blow to bits and nothing near em
you allow players to build rally points behind their lines how is that even allowed – and constantly u step out of range u die and they don’t -
also, how does a rifle man manage to kill an entire squad in cover when no one exposed firing through walls sand bags concrete bunkers in normady -
nah bye keep your game its s a cheap knockoff of Cod which it is
I play since September 2022 and have finished almost all campaigns except Pacific + Tunisia Axis.
They promised two new campaigns in the 2023 roadmap… and still give nothing
What will I do without new levels… unistall the game ?
what? i m just a alpha tester and player like yourself x)
Oh, don’t play coy. F2P players only get 3 infantry slots and 1 vehicle slot. This alone, hinders all F2P player progression significantly.
In order to increase these slots, players must purchase them individually at an incrementally increasing price.
And this applies for each campaign.
FTP Players can’t even enjoy using the variety of squads during any given match, unless the player is willing to fork out a couple hundred dollars (USD) spread across all the campaigns.
The price(s) attached to additional squad slots is an absolute joke, and is probably hurting Enlisted in more ways than it can conceive. Talk about a turn off for new players who are facing Whales that have spent over $1,000 on premium content/additional squad slots.
Premium gives 6 instead of 4 slots for squads and costs only 50- 100 $ during the sale (one year of premium). 6 squad slots are completely enough to play the game, but if someone wants he can always purchase 7th slot - which is very cheap (500 enlisted gold = 10- 20 $).
Enlisted is NOT expensive in comparison to some other games.
i mean. nothing i stated isnt the truth. one dont have to pay to play and progress.
but, fair points.
Micro-transactions at every corner adds up really fast $$$, especially when these purchases are made over the course of a period of months.
A little bit here, a little bit there, I’ll just buy one more thing.
Pretty soon a player realizes he’s spent $200, $500, $750, $1,000 on an online video game.
It’s no big deal for the whales who have nothing else to spend their money on. But for the rest of playerbase, these microtransactions at every turn are a joke. Paying for the privilege of having additional options to choose from on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting on the team command wheel, to get a “Yes” and “No” option.
Do you think if I paid $50 I can get the privilege of communicating with my team in an efficient way?
Yeah it is not that great, but the infantry squads are not the problem. The vehicle are, you have to choose between a tank and a plane, which depending on the situation, might prevent you from carrying the game.
But I don’t think that F2P is too difficult to progress. I never put money in this game and I completed my first campaign (Normandy ally) in around four month without playing hardcore all the time.
But yeah progression is rough, particularly at low level when you don’t have that much equipment and you are facing a lot of end-tier weapons and vehicles.
Oh man, I agree but infantry slots are almost always what fucks me the most, I like my event paras, but I love the flamethrower and BAR sqauds too, I also want to take the 2 engineer squads to battle, I don’t even know what to do once I unlock the second MG squad.
And quickly I am looking at 6 infantry squads and I can only choose 3 of them.
About vehicles I loved testing the Jumbo around but when faced with the Tiger and Panther issue I had no doubt about putting the A-20 into the slot.
Yeah I ended up not using the Paratroopers and instead went for Flamethrower/MG/Assault. One squad that I would have love to get as an additional squad would the radio one. It has a lot of utility with smoke shell and bombers but the squads itself is weak and I don’t want want to sacrifice one of my frontline squad for them.
The Jumbo is so good for the US, their best tank without a doubt. Against Tiger and Panther, you should go for their barrel and tracks (especially since the repair update), but if that cannot be done, just go for a smoke shell to prevent them from shooting at you and relocate to a safer position.
What bother me the most is that when I use a Tank, a cannot counter German planes. In some matches you end-up with a lot of new player that cannot contest the sky, thus Ju-188 can bomb the hell out of your team for the whole game. I love to have a fighter for that kind of situation.
I will probably go for 2 engineers and 1 MG. M2 is good enough as assault gun with the best composition of the engineer squad compared to the assault squad (I love radios and AT is a necessity so no Assault squad for me).
Did it, not really satisfying, also, not of much use them they are on the top of the hill on the DDay map, the plane unfortunately is more flexible about it and…
Has this advantage too, not that the A-20 is a good dogfighter because it isn’t but I have won some ambushes and AI bombers are easy to down with it.
Just park your tank in a safe spot, and use your commander to shoot at enemy aircraft with the .50 cal on top of your turret. Doesn’t really matter if you instantly destroy the aircraft or not… All you gotta do is land a few critical hits that puncture the fuel, oil, or water lines… and the plane will be dead in about 60-120 seconds.
THe M2 is indeed an excellent assault weapon. I have the 50 round lanchester so that’s why I use the assault squad, but yeah I also prioritize engineer and radio as specialists in my squads, so no AT for my assault, which can sometimes be detrimental. However, I never saw the engineer squad itself as an overall higher value than other squad.
Man you will love the P-47 if you did not unlocked it yet.
Don’t worry, I do it all the time, but I like to push the objectives with my tanks so I get busy dealing with pesky infantry and tanks. So, when a Ju-188 comes out of nowhere and pepper the point with their bombs, I usually end up dying with half of my team. Don’t get me wrong, axis player are probably also suffering from the same issue with US planes.
You don’t have to pay to progress, but it will take alot of free time in order to grind through all the campaigns (merge is comming which will either help or make grind worse)
I’ve been playing for around 3 and 1/2 years as F2P and basically only have Moscow left to grind (1 or 2 levels left here and there in other campaigns, mostly duplicate gear I already have in other campaigns). Its been a very long journey.
