That’s simply not true, recoil is always relevant. And difference between Lahti/Knorr and BARs is not that significant.
So as I have already said, just nerf it to similar level.

I think the T34 rocket should also become level 3
Because the main body is just an ordinary Sherman and cannot fight against the Tiger and Panther.

Knorr has significantly worse mobility than BAR1918, though I can’t deny that Lathi is comparable stats wise except for rpm which is a significant disadvantage. I would argue that it’s the fire power that makes the difference.
Lathi has a significantly lower rate of fire that makes it BR2.

You can nerf different aspect of BAR, like horizontal recoil, dispersion, or movement speed to 35% like Knorr has.
There’s so many options.

Im not talking about run speed XD
ADS gives you a nerf with MGs when moving: more dispersion, more camera sway, more recoil ect…
But BAR has significantly less ADS than MG13 or any other BR2 MG for that fact, except Lathi.

I mean if BAR got a proper ADS nerf so it isn’t pure run n gun and more like Breda 30 than I would have no problem with it.

I never said it should be lowered to BR2 in its current state. It’s obvious it needs some kind of nerf to be placed at BR2. But I do think it is wasted potential not to reduce one of the BARs to BR2.
Literally no one prefers using vanilla 1918 over other variants. There is no reason to do so. It’s just an annoying filler in progression that serves no other purpose once you get better A1 or A2 versions (since iirc, none of them are in folders).
As a BR2 weapon it could fill the place of a proper US MG at BR2. Because there is currently no American MG on the BR2.

Isn’t the same true for Vickers-Berthier, Bren mk.I already? They are almost identical too.
The game needs many more guns and many need to foldered.

Maybe, but I don’t care about those weapons. If someone does, he can suggest similar suggestion.
If it were up to me, I’d have made most of them legacy weapons and taken them off the tech tree completely.

BAR should not go to BR II absolutely not , It will outshine every MG in BR II though this does not mean that I don’t want BR II MG for allies just the choice here is way overpowered for BR II , as a good measure here a few MG’s for allies that could be put to BR II
1- First and foremost is Hotchkiss M1922 which is already in game and would be the easiest option to add to TT and its BR II , if in any case anyone feels that this copy-paste would not be interesting they could add the box mag variant which was tested by UK
2- the second gun being Hotchkiss M1909(Whichever version would be fine ) and cool thing is this can get optic like type 97
3- Chauchat MLE.M1918 but it has 16 round its the American variant and TBH i could have included a lot here but I dont feel like it so be content with these 3 MGs for now

You can’t realistically compare the guns because every combat situation is different.
Its something you feel during the match, the best you can do is look up ADS here:
