Yeah but you have BR MM which limits the difference there, and if you are bottom BR then you have a bunch of team mates who have higher BR’s who can help.
good tankers last a long time before anyone gets near them with explosive packs, and for someone who wants something because some of them were there (hence “historical”), then lambasts me for asking how the historical methods used to deal with them should be simulated, relying upon Stuka’s for your AT at Moscow is a peculiar position to take!
Forgive me if I sounded overly harsh. Wasn’t my intention. Its probably left over frustration of how easy it is to kill tanks, but no one does it.
My Comments certainly don’t rely on a Stuka (that’s just a guaranteed instant solution). And good tankers can minimise their exposure (I know this as I rack up 100s of kills in panzers) But I also know having dished out and being on the receiving end, If a “GOOD” infantry player wants a good tanker dead, that tanks going to die. It only takes 1 infantry that knows how to cook a detpack to get into your blind spot. And good player or not, Tanks have huge blindspots to be exploited.
Situations where player skill levels aren NOT equivalent are not good examples in my mind. (IE a good tanker carving up “average” infantry players)
It has a great mg configuration, The gun is enough to take out any tank with a good shot. Angling can buy you some time, but you would prefer not being shot at lol.
Sooo your argument is that because it can be killed by a plane, it is balanced?
Okay then, I suggest buffing German infantry to be immune to everything but plane bombs to balance out the stronger tanks on Soviet (Kv1) and American (Jumbo). A stupid idea to match the stupidness of this idea.
The game already isn’t historically accurate at all. We got the Jumbo, which didn’t participate in the battle for Normandy, as well as the Pz3B and BA-11 in Moscow.
Except in Enlisted you do not get access to any of the rare shell types. No HVAP for Pz2, no APCR for Pz3, no HEAT for Pz4. Go try killing KV-1s and T-34s without those shells. Be sure to bring that Pz2 into that high tier match as well as we got it ingame here too!
Yup. For the people who think that the Flak88 can balance a KV-1, go try killing the current tanks with that 50mm PaK gun and see how much the “but the flak88 can kill the KV-1” argument holds up.
Once again, big flat nope for KV-1s in Moscow. T-34s probably wouldn’t be too terrible but it would make EVERY other Soviet tank obsolete so just for that reason I don’t want to see that one either.
Also, you should feel ashamed for suggesting this level of P2W.
Giving Germans the meaner planes is a fair balance practice if Soviets want T-34 and KV-1. But don’t you ever come crying again if they wipe out half the map on a bombing run.
If that ain’t happening, pipe it down and use the current tanks. They function perfectly fine for the current maps available in Moscow.
There’s no reason to give drastically OP stuff to any side. All you will hear is “X is OP it need nerf” and whichever nation’s playerbase cries harder about it will keep their OP shit. It won’t be enjoyable and will only lead to even more toxicity among the playerbase.
Again, I don’t want it. But if it stops their cries, I’m all in for it. Been hearing it since day 1. Would love to see a change here for once.
Or don’t make German planes OP, just give them sticky AT explosives(from the start xD). That would be ridiculous.
And for everyone wanting KV-1, here’s your proof that KV-1 is not coming or not coming any time soon. T-34 might be added but will have its own balancing measures if the devs follow what they did for KV-1.
As long as they make the tank as much of a blind fuck as it was historically in it’s 1940 configuration, I am all for it. Fogged sights, periscopes made out of polished metal instead of mirrors, that kinda stuff. Have the tank be as horrible to use as it was IRL during those days. Oh and don’t forget the 2 rounds per minute historical firerate.
Visibility should be one very large balancing factor for tanks, but it currently is not.
We should be able to control turret movement from commanders cupola, same as when you have commander peaking out of the tank. Will create separate thread about this. This would be a very balancing factor for Moscow campaign as it will give Germans an edge in target requisition. We could go even further, no marker targets on mini map for tanks without radio. And there you have it. Powerful but blind best of T34.
It still wouldn’t balance a KV-1, but T-34 would indeed be fine balance wise with such restrictions. However, it would not be fun to play, as you are basically fighting against the bad sights instead of the enemy, while it would not be fun to play against either, as the armor would tank a lot of hits. You wouldn’t actually improve the game with it at all.
Yeah, but as said, T-34 would only be added to satisfy the “muh historical accuracy” peeps even though BA-11 and Pz3B aren’t historically accurate either in that campaign. Those exact same peeps will cry “muh T-34 sights bad” immediately after that, and the German mains will cry “bruh T-34 armor OP”. You won’t actually make anyone happy with it.
