A quick question about that, do you think bots sporadically USE their flamethrowers? I’m almost certain a bot sprayed me last time.
It was only a quick 2 seconds jet, but it fired it still?
i’d go further and suggest to do the same with basic radioman.
because i would like to call it in real time with binos if my own radioman is alive.
or, draw more precise smoke rounds where those should land.
well.
flamethrowers being the exception.
but even then, they will only use it if enemies are very close ( while burning their own allies and what not )
but as far as it goes for anti tank rifles ( at least, on tanks ) rpgs, mortars, grenade launchers, and luftfausts are not used by ai.
It could be a solution to the unnecessary long smoke rounds barrage timer.
We proposed separate timers for regular and smoke arty, but devs refused. If we can call smoke with spoters, maybe the timer for it could be reduced? I miss my smoke barrages…
finally something i agree on, smoke should be used more than it is but no one will do anything that does not get them points
