What will happen to the squadron slots that have been purchased in different campaigns, will these be eliminated or will they be available in the same way?

I agree with all your goals. Many will try out the game because they made good experiences in WarThunder so having similar systems is great.
I was bummed out that I could not just press play and get a random battlefield. Maybe it would be nice to get a bit historical knowledge of the different campaigns. Sure you can use Google, but I am certain you can come up with a more immersive way.
I think having historical accuracy is one of your unique selling points, maybe you could try to keep the vehicles true to it´s usage on the different battlefield, but weapons are less important. Just my opinion.
Having squads per campaign is very convoluted so you are making the right move.
If you can make some improvements to the AI everything could turn out well for this game after my very poor first impression when the beta launched.

Do we get unallocated research points in exchange for the progress we made till the new system came?
If yes, then it would be nice to have the option to not have to spend them all at once.
What will happen, for example, with the players that we only like to play with Japanese? What will happen with the premium units or those won in events?

and what would happen if I only play X maps?,because,for example,I hate Moscow and I play Tunisia,Berlin and such?,I am forced to play them?
Please - I bet you. Dont implement these changes without Beta-Testing and taking feedback from the community.
I know this game will become a grindfest after you Gaijinficate it.

This is a very very important question to me. I literally bought 3 slots and 3 premiums after loving the first couple games. Im new just started a week ago and now im seeing this stuff happening. Thats over 3000 gold or whatever its called. I spent good money on those slots, please dont tell me they are just going to go away without compensation or implementing those slots into the into this new Warthunder by country random battle thing. I was just about to buy another slot when i came across this post. Please Gaijin give clarification on this.

They said they will merge all faction slots that are across campaigns so if you have purchased +1 slot across all German sides you will get +5 slots in new system so 9/10 slots without premium, Japan and Usa will get screwed since you can’t cheaply buy a lot of slots since JP is only in single campaign and US only in two. So it will be weird having uneven nations like that. Better buy as many cheap slots across campaigns instead doing it in a single one.

Hey, what about doing the bonus slots by faction? So all axis add up and all ally add up?
We don’t know they are too secretive with what will happen to full access. I hope they will get converted to slots so i could have 10 axis slots and like 9 allies soviets slots.
Please… PLEASE do NOT lump all the campaigns together. That was my favorite aspect of the game. Playing campaigns and theatres of war that I was interested in. Please don’t follow behind every other multiplayer game that forces you through dozens of game modes and maps that you hate just in hopes of getting one that I enjoy. That’s what made the grind worth it… If I’m forced to play through game modes like conquest on campaigns that I hate it would drive me and I’m sure many others away from this game faster than anything. Please. Don’t remove your theatres.

What slots are you talking about? The presets?
squad slots. those you can buy so you can have 10 squads in battle…

So I get two additional ones as long as I have premium active, and then I can add another four that are also only active as long as premium is active?

Then when you pay for other ones, i don’t think they need the prem to keep them, if prem runs out, idk as i have never run out of prem yet. lol

they are permanent and can be used without premium. but i think you need premium active to actually buy them

Just wanna say despite it being WAY to late, I do not not like that the full game will be going away from the beautiful historical accuracy that is present in the game now.
