United States of America and the British Empire
Scoped M2 carbine
Both the M1 and M2 carbines (including M1A1 and M2A1) can accept M84 scopes.
While the M2 carbine will never be as accurate as a sniper rifle, it can be a formidable weapon in medium ranges, rivaling the scoped StG44.
Sten mk.V with 50 round Lanchester magazine
The Sten´s development did not stop with the success of the mk.II, the mk.V was upgraded with more comfortable wooden stock and wooden grip to help control recoil, bayonet mount added and the sight was replaced with that of a SMLE sight.
Stens could also accept Lanchester magazines, with a decent 50 round mag the mk.V could be a great weapon choice of British squads in high BRs.
Comet I
Developed from the Cromwell series, the Comet I offered excellent mobility, low profile and fire power that rivals the Panther tank.
Japanese Empire
Scoped Type Ko rifle
Not much to say here, Japan doesn’t have a sniper rifle past BR2 and even the existing selection is poor so they really should get some sniper rifles.
MKMO submachine gun
This Swiss submachine gun was actually used by Japan´s puppet, Mengjiang, however due to gameplay and political concerns, we will probably never see that faction/subfaction.
The SIG MKMO is a very powerful, elegant and unsuccessful gun. Firing 7,63x25mm Mauser with an impressive 850-900 rate of fire its forced to be reckoned with especially considering its large 40 round magazine.
I-Go Ko
The Type 89 tank is the first mass produced diesel engine tank.
While it’s armour and speed are not very impressive, it is armed with a powerful 57mm gun and a hull mounted type 91 MG, because of the poor standardisation the magazine size could vary with some machine guns holding up to 60 rounds of ammunition.
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Tokarev Mosin-Nagant
A semi-automatic conversion of the famous Mosin-Nagant rifle by Fedor Vasilievich Tokarev, this rifle is one of his early works.
The rifle can hold 5 rounds and is reloaded via stipper clips. It should be BR2 and have stats similar to the Armaguerra and Type Hei rifle.
M23 Tallinn Arsenal
The M23 Arsenal submachine gun was developed in Estonia in 1923, it was based on the MP28 and SIG 1920, it had a large 40 round stick magazine, was chambered in 9x20mm Browning and had a fire rate of 600 rpm.
The weapon was mostly used by Estonian border guard units and some were sold to the Spanish Republic during the Spanish civil war.
With the Soviet occupation in 1940, the Estonian army alongside their submachine guns was integrated into the Soviet red army, their fate is unknown with only a few surviving today.
Considering its characteristics and the weapons it was based on, it should be BR3 and have stats similar to the SIG 1920 and Lanchester (50 round) SMGs.
IS-100m
During the development of the IS-2, Soviet engineers worked on two models, one armed with the 122mm D-25t gun which went on to see mass production and another model armed with the 100mm D-10t.
The D25t variant was developed into the IS-2, a good heavy breakthrough tank suffering from long reload.
The D-10t variant was developed into the IS-100m, a tank combining the excellent mobility and protection of the IS-2 while offering the same powerful fire power as the T-34-100.
Axis powers of Europe
Gewehr 41 with Wien 4×60 telescope scope
A BR3 sniper rifle is the last item Axis tech tree is “missing”, there are very few possible candidates for this, it will either be a scoped G41 or a captured Garand/SVT.
Late production Gewehr 41s could be equipped with multiple scope types, not just the ZF-41 we have in game.
Soumi kp-31 50 rounds
The famous Soumi kp-31 submachine gun had many different magazines available, not only the drum magazine, though that is surely the most well known.
Soumi could be fed by 20, 30, 50 round box magazines as well as by 40 or 71 round drum magazines. The 50 round box magazine, nicknamed “coffin”, was a more reliable replacement for the drum magazines.
Stug III G late
The Stug III G was Germany’s most produced armoured fighting vehicle of the war.
During the course of the war multiple changes were introduced in the production that made the late and early variants noticeably different (we have the early variant in the game as premium). The most noticeable difference is the change to the gun breach armour, it was made sloped/curved to eliminate that weak point.
Its top mounted MG was replaced with a remote controlled machine gun that the crew could control from inside the protection of the vehicle. This MG, similar to T-28 should be synchronised with both the commander and the gunner.
