Sniper SVT 40 for German BR III sniper

But instead of magazine fed lets make it stripper clip fed because probably Germans captured loads of Mosin stripper clip but limited amount of SVT magazine.

…or just copy paste sniper SVT 38 from USSR TT

I would rather have automatgevär m42 sniper or gewehr 41 mauser sniper. Or they can just drop gewehr 43 sniper down

I have a better idea - just copy paste the entire Soviet tech tree. Perfect balancing (and then the devs will nerf the German tree to hell just cause they can).

Swap the premium G41W sniper for the M variant, and the W goes to the TT. Or just give W variant to TT (like Johnson rifle).

Don’t be such a brooding fella. Soviets received Panzerfaust it’s only proper for Germans to get sniper SVT 38/40.

Someone mentioned a Swedish :sweden: :sweden: :sweden: weapon, I have been summoned.

Once WW2 content is truly well and fully completed for the current factions, as well as other actually warring countries being added, I’d have no problem with going alternate history and adding Sweden too (if the war had lasted a couple of more months or even just weeks in Europe Sweden would have landed troops in Denmark and possibly Norway to liberate them and keep the Soviets out). But there’s no historical basis for giving Swedish weaponry to the Germans, if anything it should be the other way around…

Until then, I’d rather see the G41 Walther with the ZF 41 Scope (x1.5 magnification, also the most commonly used scope on the rifle), premium version has the ZF 4 (with x4). This makes the most sense.

They should just have made the Mauser version as the premium sniper, but hey ho DF making things into premiums when they shouldn’t be and ultimately hurting the game isn’t the first or last either. Also, G43 is still a BR IV weapon and should stay that way.

How about G41 late with Wien scope?

the best part is that the scope does not block the reloading, thus snipers can reload via clips rather than bullets one by one, unlike most Axis sniper rifles that dont have a detachable magazine.

This seems like the most appropriate choice

Can’t wait for the day when we can buy scopes separately, and apply the ones we want ourselves.

Sadly, it seems that rifles with different scopes are legacy or event rewards (sniper mosin)
I would love that feature though, but it is unlikely for now.

I was thinking something more unique For axis BR 3…I hadnt got around to making a suggestion for Axis BR 3 sniper rifle but I thought these were cool

Unfortuantely for the Germans they never got their hands on the MAS 44, pre-war prototypes or even any technical drawings , the project was succesfully kept secret from them up to and including the Liberation of France (when the Free French started manufacture of it), the MAS 44 is definetly a Allies only weapon.

The Fusil 1917 (or Gewehr 310(f)) would be a interesting addition though, but on top of a German made tech-tree alternative. Maybe as a Battle Pass weapon…?

suits me just fine for Allies. Cool looking weapon :+1:

Great option for a Allies BR IV rifle, similar to the G43 or SVT 40, magazine fed but still only semi-automatic. :+1:

Technically, Germany has the right to use about 2/3rds of the USSR’s tech tree without issue. Seriously, you would be surprised at the amount of equipment and vehicles that fell into German hands upon the start of Operation Barbarossa. Even as late as April 1945, there were reports of SS divisions from Army Group Vistula utilizing 76.2mm ZIS-3 field guns and T-34-85s that they had taken off the hands of surrendered Red Army units. Is it low effort, yes. But it is equally as reasonable.
