My question is it possible to modify the sound of weapons in a game mod without needing to install a sound mod?

however, you’ll need the FMOD Bank 0.0.1.4 as the 0.0.1.6 does not work for enlisted.

Yes, you can, but you can only change weapon sounds with built-in sounds - you cannot add your own sounds without a sound mod.

Also, it is currently impossible to integrate a sound mod in a user game mod. Users need to manually download the sound mod separately.

You still have to “install” the sound mod after you have “created” it
OP also didn’t mention if its about installing other’s sound mod, so we are both correct in our own way, I guess

that’s called “loading”.

because you take the sound file that you modified, and drag it and drop in the sound mod folder.

installing means doing the same thing, except you had to go over the portal and download that from someone else.

with their own things too.
